Hooks pov

It was morning now and his alarm had just been silenced five times. He really didn't want to get up, he just wanted to stay in bed and not have to deal with a bunch of prissy royals proposing to their partners from the first sentence they spoke to each other. It was disgusting. The only things worth his love was his treasure, his ship, and maybe Morgie.

Wait, Morgie? Where did that thought come from? Surely he didn't like Morgie that way? His immaculate thoughts were then so rudely cut off when a certain serpentine boy switched off Hooks alarm. "Why do you even have an alarm James, you don't listen to it" Hook groaned as he sat up, looking at Morgie as he yawned. " You awoke me from my beauty sleep, dear Morgie," he said jokingly. " Yeah, right, I suppose you need true loves kiss to save the day or something," Morgie replied sarcastically. Even though Hook knew he was joking, he decided to have some fun with it. " Oh, well I suppose that could work," Hook said with a flirtatious smirk, running the blunt end of his hook along Morgies face.

Morgie turned red and stared at him, embarrassed. " Sorry sorry, I didn't mean to say that!" Morgie said frantically. " I need to umm... brush my teeth" Hook just chuckled. It seemed like Morgie said a lot of things he didn't mean, but Hook was obviously too much of a gentleman to bring it up to him.

— time skip to spells class —

"Morgie, Hook, you're late," came the teacher's voice as they stood in the doorway of their first class, spells. The teacher was a curt old lady with spectacles that looked as if they would fall off her nose at any second. She wore a prim and proper grey suit and had an extremely disappointed look about her face. " Sorry miss, but Morgies snake ate our homework," was Hooks sassy response. " You don't have homework, it's the first day of school" she said with such an air of disgust that Hook had to cover poor Morgies mouth with his hand as Morgie fought to hold back giggles. When Morgie managed to swallow his laughter, he put on the same air as the teacher, saying " I'm rather sorry miss, but it would be spectacular if you would consider shutting up" The whole class burst out laughing, and Hook put his hand on Morgies shoulder for support. " that is it! Go to the principals office NOW!" The teacher said angrily. Morgie took hold of Hooks hand as Hook was laughing way too hard.

When they got to the principals office, Morgies mood immediately darkened. " what's wrong Morgs?" Hook asked, concerned. " Nothing, I can tell you later," Morgie said. Hook wondered what was wrong with him. Was he scared of being told off, or was it something more... personal? Hook put an arm around Morgie as he led him to the desk the principal was at. " Morgie? Hook? To be honest, I'm not really surprised that you two are already here, come along and join the others who were caught skipping class." Merlin was looking at Morgie weirdly. Truth be told, it was kind of unsettling. Morgie looked irritated and a bit sad. Hook suddenly felt protective over Morgie, he was going to figure out what was up between his friend and principal, figure out what happened that made them hate each other so much.

They were led into a classroom with three others. One was a girl with blue-green hair with some streaks of yellow too. She had tentacles poking out from behind her and was wearing a blue and green outfit with lots of gold. On a little couch, sat a boy with flaming blue hair and a girl with her head on his shoulder. The boy looked like a rockstar, kind of punk-like, but not at the same time. The girl had raven black hair, which wrapped around two large horns and an additional high ponytail. She dressed from head to toe in black, not a single positive thing about her. She smiled as they came into the room. "Ah, detention already boys?" She waggled a daunting finger at them, laughing a pure evil laugh.

Hook grinned and sat down on another couch dragging Morgie with him, making sure to keep his arm wrapped around Morgies waist to show the turquoise girl that Morgie was his and no one else's. Even if they weren't even dating or— wait a second, why was he thinking about dating Morgie? What was wrong with him? He shook the thought as he asked " what are your names?" The horned girl spoke first. " I'm Maleficent, and this is my boyfriend, Hades" Hades, who had been looking at them suspiciously, said " I'm a god, don't you dare mess with me or Mal." Hook smirked " I'm Hook," he said, brandishing his silver hook, " And this is Morgie" He looked in turquoise girls direction and caught her eye. " Uliana" she said simply.

" So, what are you all in here for?" Hook asked. " A little early to start detention, don't you think?" Maleficent chuckled and said " We set Arouras bed on fire in the middle of the night," Hook and Morgie both burst out laughing. " I wish I could've seen her face when she noticed!" Morgie said, tears in his eyes. Hades and Uliana joined in laughing now. " You should have seen her calling for prince Phillip and running around on her tiny little bedtime slippers!" Uliana giggled. " Maleficents friend, Grimhilde is her roommate and she let us in, it was so funny!"

When they had all regained composure, Hades asked why they were in there. " Well, I kept putting my alarm on snooze and then I needed help polishing my hook, because it obviously wasn't shiny enough," hook remarked vainly, " and then the teach asked why we were lactate and we told her that Morgies snake ate our homework, she started bitching off about how we don't have homework on the first day and Morgie told her to shut up"

Everyone chuckled at this and Hooked realised these were his new friends, he also realised they would probably be getting a lot more detentions that year.
Little did he know just how right he was.
