T H E O D O R A

Realization of him gone hit me like a rock. Can't save him? No... this can not be. Atlas is strong! I've seen the potential in him to be a great warrior!

"This.. isn't true..." I muttered

I felt numb

I could hear voices, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I felt numbness spread like wildfire in my body.

What is happening?

What are they saying?

Am I okay?

I don't feel okay, I felt completely numb like I was wolf that lost all its senses, which made it helpless. I felt helpless.

I let a child die

It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault.

My breathing got erratic as I unconsciously fell to the ground, kneeling. I was in a state of shock, but I didn't care, I just wanted them back.

I couldn't breathe. I felt my lungs crushing me, and my heart was in pain. Julia and Spencer were talking to the doctor, but I couldn't hear them, I was too focused on the voices inside my head.

It's all your fault

You're irresponsible!

You're an unreliable person!

You selfish b!+ch

You never cared for anybody else, only you.

You're unworthy

Disappointment you bring to Mortisnox

Freak!

Stupid-eyed freak

Nobody wants you anymore

When you meet your mate, he will reject you, freak-eyes!

I couldn't feel anything until something hit the ground. I knew that it was me that fell to the ground as I felt a sharp pain in my head.

THIRD PERSON POV

As Thea passed out, Spencer caught her head just in time. He sighed in relief as he picked his friend up. The doctor led them to a room before putting Thea on the hospital bed.

"What happened to her?" Spencer asks the doctor worriedly yet calmly

"It must've been stress. The fact that her family died was too much for her to handle, so her body shut down." The doctor explained to the beta

"Is she gonna be okay?" Julia whispered

"Don't worry, she is gonna be just okay, but I don't think she's gonna take it lightly that both died. I suggest putting her on rest. I can't imagine losing a family member, let alone all of them." The doctor whispered the last part sadly

"Is there anything we can do?" Spencer murmured, looking at her laying on the hospital bed

"Her PTSD might return. I advise you to keep a close eye on her, and please do not put her in constant stress and pressure." He looks at her as she stirred. "I shall take my leave. She is good to go home after she wakes up. Oh! Also, if you notice that she's getting worse; please do not hesitate to call me." He explains before leaving the room

Tears shredded Julia's eyes as she sobbed on her mate's shoulder. She thought about the last memory of Zephyr and Atlas before they entered death's doorstep.

She knew that memories would haunt her, but Thea's situation was worse. She could fall into depression and be suicidal, and that would be no good. A lot of wolves rely on warriors for protection, but Thea, she was the pack angel. Literally. Most wolves at Mortisnox adored her.
