[ Y/n's Point of View ]
I trail past Ei as she insist that i must take the front for the sake of her paranoia of who knows what i might have done if i was behind. Surely nothing good will come out if you leave me open behind you. But, alas as much as my hands are ever eager to be at your neck i fear that i lack the power to do so, if it wasn't for the battle we had inside your little domain i could have atleast saved myself some extra trouble. Far than it is worth.
I sigh now arriving at where furuyuma was, but to my confusion he is nowhere in sight.
"Where have he been? He surely did not go to fetch tea himself, did he?"
"Or perhaps the leyline did not have the power to sustain him for very long. As for the case with the memory we saw earlier." She replies my retort assuring the rest of my doubt.
"Ah, a pity i truly did had the high hopes of tasting his tea for one last time it seems-"
"Hm, i suppose for the old time's sake perhaps i should try my hands at making us a pot of tea."
For a moment i look at her in an utter doubt, not one bit convinced I'd trust that mighty hands of hers for that alone is the reason that had cut me deep. May, what if i end up with poison this time. Ah well, i suppose it won't hurt to try, thanks to the doctor I'd say i have much an immunity to poison.
"I'd be happy to be a guest for once." I mutter looking away as she began pouring to tea in both cups, a though she began earlier ago it is, as if she didn't need my permission to do so. Ah, prideful as usual.
. . .
"The tea is ready.. give it a try."
... "Hmm." I hum as i take one sip, not fearing the risk of poisoning for that i know even if she had done it, I would have taken the chance to fake one.
. . . It's not poisoned rather... Its bitter.. and sweet at the same time once it was swallowed. Ah, it brings rather some sort of vexation, followed with a nostalgic memory.
Hm, i shoot her a glance taking her tea."So many thoughts were racing in my head as i was brewing it. I..... I'm not sure how to explain it... Y/n... Just tell me how are you alive."
She questions me as she puts down her cup of tea now looking at me with an eye that shows a thousand of questions that is yet to come."Hm... How persistence as usual. Ha, but do you think I'd simply tell you. Well, Let me give you a hint and guess the rest for yourself, you know who i work for correct? surely you'd know who i serve now and why." I too put down the tea as soon as i finished speaking now crossing my arms staring at her.
".... Although i do know who you work for but i can't exactly put my finger on the exact reason... Not to mention this day have reminded me of so many people, too. Kitsun Saiguu, Makoto.. and all the other friends.. i am sure they are too familiar to as i am."
. . . . . When did she became so sentimental... Ah for what do i care. She is right though.. Saiguu... And Makoto- ...
"As for your sister, it wasn't me who had done it."
. . . "But the battlefield-"
"Whatever it is you thought! .. I didn't do it! How can you blame me for something i haven't even done as for i said that I'd rather have my own limbs severed in dice than take..." I grit my teeth not wanting to utter the word what i ought to be saying.
