8. THE DREAM

What is wrong with him? In especially me? Why did I miss the target when he was watching? Why was I a shuttering? Why was all of these giving me a heart attack? Athena, get a grip. You should not fall. This is just a contracted relationship. It ends as soon as the war is over. Emotions don't work always remember that, Athena. Aiden dropped me back to my room.

"Get well soon Luna" saying that he left me on my bed and went to resume his duties.

I need to relax my body. I need a nap! Nap! Nap! Nap!!!!

* slowly falls asleep *

             IN HER DREAM
           
             ( POV: AUTHOR)
*A little girl giggling*

*In a cute voice* "Mommy! Mommy! Try to catch me if you can. Ha! Ha!"

"Wait, Amica (Amica means sweetheart).

Suddenly the little girl fell down.

*Little girl crying*

*Her father comes running*

"Athena! Athena! Are you alright my princess?"

"Amica! I told you to be careful"

The mother tears the hem of her immediately and tied it to the wounded knee. The father immediately gives her a piggy back ride.

"Mommy! Daddy! Sorry that I didn't listen" the little girl said sniffing.

"No problem, Amica"

"We will always be there for you my princess. My cute little teddy bear"

       END OF HER DREAM

Tears started to roll down her face in the sleep. She wakes yp slowly from her.

              POV: ATHENA
I just opened my eyes after wiping my tears. What a dream! Maybe words are just meant to be words. I woke up to see Aiden sitting on the floor.

"Amica, my cute little teddy bear, my Luna. Why were you crying in your sleep? Is anything wrong? You can tell me anything. I will give you my shoulder"

I couldn't control my tears. How did he know that those were my nicknames? I jumped out of my bed and fell straight into his arms. To that force he fell down and I fell on top of him. I started crying like a baby in his arms.

"Luna? What's wrong, Amica?" he said in a really comforting tone.

I cried until all my sadness was gone. But he didn't push me away nor said to stop crying. He just held me tightly in his arms. That safe and comforting feeling.........
          I've never felt like this in years.

"Now tell me what's wrong Luna?"

I raised up and sat on the floor and asked him also to sit OK the floor. I've told him everything about my life not even leaving one detail. And he was listening very carefully without interrupting me even once.

"You are a strong woman Luna"

That's the first time I've listened it in my life.

"Luna, listen carefully. If you were a star, I'd reach for the skies. If you were a wave, I'd dive in deep. If you were a secret, I'd vow to keep. If you were a rose, I'd take in your scent. If you were my heart, I'd give you my consent. If you were a wish, I'd make it come true. If you were a story,  I'd read it with care. If you were a promise, I'd always be there. Luna, you are beautiful and perfect. I will be there for you"

He looked at me like I was his whole universe. I cried because I was full of dead stars and broken debris but he still called me beautiful.

"Sleep well tonight, Luna. Take off all your worries. REMEMBER I AM THERE FOR YOU. Tomorrow onwards I will plan all your schedules. So be ready for tomorrow"

"For what Aiden?"

He just winked at me and left. I was staring at him dumbly. OK Athena, don't worry. Just take your beauty sleep and be ready for tomorrow.

*Morning came* *Birds chirping* *Athena is still sleeping*

I felt like someone touching my cheeks. Is it Jessica? No! No! Jessica would wake me up normally. I slowly opened my eyes to see Aiden staring at me lovingly.

"Good morning, Luna" he said smiling cutely at me.

Aha! That dimple smile has done a lot of bad things to my heart. Why does he have to ne cute and hot at the same time? My heart is becoming weak and weak day by day because of him (dies of a weak heart).

"Done staring again?"

Oh my God! What is wrong with me?

"No....Nothing! Nothing! I am just staring at the ceiling"

"OK? How is your leg?"

"I AM READY FOR THE DAY! HA! HA!"

He laughed like a normal human being. Why am I finding him too much attractive these days?

"Aiden?"

"Yes Luna?"

"What did you plan for today? Like what is my schedule today?"

"It is a surprise, Luna"..............
