Rheanyra strides through the hallways back to her chambers for the night, though she found herself wearily and needed to sleep. She had complained to her aunt of not finding sleep, and Lady Francesca had Maester Mellos make an Essence of Nightshade to help her sleep, which should be waiting in her cellar.
Meanwhile, Ser Criston stood on guard outside Rheanyra's chamber. A dutiful kings guard remained vigilant.
"Good night, Ser Criston." Rheanyra walks past him her.
The Dornish reciprocates. "Sleep well, Princess." He gave a polite nod of acknowledgment.
Rheanyra strides into the room, shutting the door. A four pour post silver bed late in the middle of the room, resting on top of black fur rugs. A fireplace is nested in the corner of the room with a lounge chair facing it.
Drapes of Targaryen tapestries hang against the walls, lightly dancing in cold breeze that is provided by the open window. A round table is placed in another corner, four chairs surrounding it, while a brown leather bag, sits on its surface.
Nearing the table and exhaling, Rheanyra proceeds to beginning to remove her earrings, placing it on the table. she furrowed her brows, noticing a sack hanging on a chair.
Suspicious, curiousity overtook the princess, as he grabs the sack, dumping the inner contents as they tumbled out, along with a rolled paper. Creasing her brows she finds a common page boy's clothes: white dirty baggy shirt, brown pants, black leather boots and a brown hat. Beside it laid a piece of parchment.
Slowly, Rheanyra took the parchment, and unveiling it to see instructions written in High Valyrian glyphs, on how to escape through Maegor's secret passage in the Red Keep.
"Put on the cloths
Push the wall behind the tapestry behind your bed.
Follow the passage, I'll be waiting for you outside.""Gods...." Rheanyra smiles, she recognizes the handwriting and deciphered the message.
The Red Keep have a secret passage and tunnels Aegon the Conqueror had begun, but King Maegor Targaryen to it built and finished, enabled him to make a quick escape should his enemies ever trap him. Although the tunnels are supposedly full of traps, all made of stones.
Quickly Rheanyra gets dressed, tucked her white hair underneath the hat, hiding it away from spying eyes. She followed the instructions carefully, moving over to the far wall of her room and pushed the panels next to her bed, opened a stone to reveal a hidden door. "Whoa!" She stumbled forwards catching herself on the pillars.
Hesitant, She pushed the door closed, trailed her fingers on the stone walls, then silently walk down the spiral staircase, following them down into the darkness. Rheanyra followed the burning torches that lined in the stoned wall, sneaking out and running around a corner that opens up to the outer wall of the Red Keep.
Curiously, Rheanyra strides forward and enters into the sanctuary of the Black Dread which erected the skull of Balerion: the ancient beast, no man or god could trifle with.
Taking a deep breath, Rheanyra jog past the gigantic skull, running to an open archway, climbing the stairs, she comes in contact with an open view of the whole of Kings Landing, the serene so dark illuminated with torches under the full moon.
