When I arrived at the church my younger brother Charles was stood there waiting. his arms were crossed and he was frowning at me as I got closer.
"I'm sorry that I am late but I was held up but some silly girls and I had to hop to the bakers" I said as we started to walk back home. We lived beside the local tailors and one of my friends lived there. She had a lot of stories about people who came into the shop, the priest, backer and she told me that one of the princes once came to the shop to get some silk clothing repaired. According to her he had said that it was the best sewing job he had ever seen but he had yet to come back.
When we reached the tailors we saw Yuki, my friend, waving off a carriage with a smile on her face. however, it was clear that it was forced.
"Something wrong Yuki?" I asked her once I was close enough. she turned to me and sighed before giving a proper smile. she motioned for us to go into the shop before looking back to the carriage just as it went out of sight before we walked into the shop to have a chat over some bread and tea.
