The day of the ball approached faster than anyone could imagine and the girls of the town were rushing to try and get ready for the party. Yuki had closed the shop for the day to prepare herself and, finally, Yuki convinced me to go as well and had shown me the dress she wanted me to wear.

The dress was like the ball gown from Cinderella except it was a dark purple and the trim was black. the shoes were something I had to find so I dug out an old pair of heeled lace up boots that I used to wear back in Bristol. Yuki had done up my hair so that it curled and draped it's self over my left shoulder with a small jewelled clip holding back my fringe which would have fallen over my left eye if it was left unchecked.

Yuki looked like a princess in her ball gown that she had made herself. It was a soft baby pink colour which was modelled after Bell's ball gown. her hair was down in light waves that cascaded down her back and her shoes were white heels. she looked beautiful.

We arrived at the Castle together and joined the queue of other girls who were all dressed in their best. Slowly the line moves forward as girls were greeted at the door by the six princes. you had to curtsy and greet the princes before being allowed to enter into the ball room.

When it was Yuki and I's turn we both bowed and greeted them with a "hello your majesty." Before we entered the ballroom, not really looking at the princes when we spoke. When we walked into the ball room we were greeted with music and dancing. The hall was decorated with brilliant shades of red and purple with splashes of emerald here and there. it was magical.

Most people already had dance partners so Yuki and I went over to one of the small tables that lay near the wall and took a seat. No point in standing around when you can sit and watch what's going on in comfort. Well as comfortable as you can be in a corset that is.

The ballroom was alive with laughter and cheer but the princes refused to dance with anyone. It was strange in my opinion but I had yet to see any of the six, or I had and just never realised that I had. Yuki had left me to dance with some one sometime ago and had yet to come back, but I was content to sit by myself and watch.

I had been asked to dance but I did not want to and simply gave a polite no before pointing out a girl who looked like they wished to dance. It seemed to help quite a bit.

But the shock of my night came when I spotted a very familiar head of red hair and black fedora hat combo that could only have been the man who I had met only thrice times before. He didn't seem to recognise me. I wonder who he was? I wonder what his name is? Maybe I might just find out tonight.

It wasn't long before I realised that the mystery man wasn't dancing with anyone. In fact he was stood with four other men who were not dancing at all. It was confusing but it wasn't to unusual as I wasn't dancing either. I wonder who they are.
