**Rosalie's POV**
The next day the town was a buzz with the news that the princes had invited the girls of the town to their birthday ball in three days time. Yuki was swamped with orders for dress repairs and alterations, from girls hoping to impress the princes.

I'm wasn't that worried as I wasn't planning on going. I have only been on the town for a few years and it didn't seem right to me to just show up. Invited or not.

Yuki was excited and even had her own dress to wear and even told me that she had the perfect dress for me, until I told her that I wasn't going. She almost killed me and has been trying to convince me to go for the past three hours.

Thankfully I had to got to the library to return the book I had borrowed. The library is always quiet and calm. Today, however, it was not.

There were girls everywhere trying to read up on etiquette and posture for the party, it was a little sad to watch them struggle but I know that they probably wouldn't want my help.

After I returned my book I started to wander around, trying to find a new book to read, before I bumped into someone. it was the same man from the yesterday.

"Sorry for bumping into you, again" I said as I gave a small smile and started looking through the books again until I heard him speak.

"You know I never caught you name last we met, miss" he said sweetly. I blinked before turning back around to face him with a small smile.

"My names Rosalie Von Glistener. pleasure to make your aquantance sir" I said politely before finding a book that I enjoyed to read. Cinderella. The man looked intrigued before he asked another question.

"Would you be going to the princes birthday ball?" He asked innocently. I shook my head and my smile fell slightly.

"No I am not, unfortunately." I said plainly just before his own smile turned to a pout. Had what I said upset him?

"That's a shame. I'm sure they would love to meet you" he said sincerely before he spotted someone and said his goodbye before walking off.

As strange as he may be he is rather nice to talk to. I wish I would have gotten his name though. oh well he's gone now. No point in think of the "what if's" of our meeting.
