(A/N: I'm just listening to Shake it out on repeat and the feels are just too much.)
*Trigger warning* (Self harm...kinda)
"Maybe he should go see Vic. He knows how this feels and he could help." Andy said to Sam. Sam's eyes lit up.
"Andy, that's a great idea! Come on Ben. We're off to see Vic." And with that, he pulled me off the bus.
***Time skip to when they're at PTV's bus***
"So, Ben. From my understanding you self-harmed and tried to kill yourself?" Vic asked.
I looked to the ground shamefully and nodded.
"Why? I mean I know the usual reasons but everyone's reason is different."
"Uh...well I like someone I shouldn't like and I have no chance with them but my heart won't listen to my brain and this person is the reason my parents kicked me out and I'm scared AA will do the same if they find out." I explained.
"It's Danny isn't it?" Vic said. I looked around to see if anyone was there.
"I asked them to leave. It's Danny though, isn't it?"
I...yeah. I'm gay, I'm an f*g." I started crying.
Vic reached out and touched my arm.
"Ben. There's nothing wrong with being gay. I won't tell anyone who you like or what gender you like, okay? That part's up to you, but you have to try and stop this." He looked at my cuts. "It doesn't help. I know it feels like relief but if anything it just makes things worse. I'm glad we found out about this before it got any worse. So many people care about you Ben. Just try to stop, okay Ben?" He looked up to meet my eyes. "Please?"
"I'll try, but I'm not making any promises."
"Well...it's better than nothing." He sighed.
"I better be going." I said whilst checking the time on my phone.
"Just remember that if you ever need to talk I'm here." He smiled.
***Time skip to when Ben's back at the AA bus***
"Hey guys. I'm back." I shouted when I opened the door.
"Great. How was it?" James asked.
"Meh...it was weird. I mean, I had to talk to someone about my problems and Vic now knows more than you guys." I clamped my hand around my mouth. Sh*t. I wasn't supposed to say that, it just slipped out.
"Uh...forget I ever said anything." I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in. They started banging on the door.
"Ben, open the door."
"Come on Ben."
"Ben, don't do anything stupid!"
After about 2 minutes I had had enough, I grabbed the blade.
