these two are usually just happy happy happy not so much trauma
golden is a racist hivewing who's trying to get over her racism but it's as instilled into her as can be (i compare the tree wars w/ ww1/2 so heavy propaganda). her parents hold her to high expectations (of both racism and academic achievements).
nymphalide is a half-hivewing (although it doesn't show). her father died flying back to pantala after wasp sent him out to capture pineapple (in book 15). she is a child of r#pe. she killed her uncle using his own venom. she doesn't hate hivewings but is very afraid, due to being raised in bloodworm hive (aka the wasp supporter hive, in my hc.) after she got her wings, she went to live in cicada hive. she likes mantis hive the most.
