"Finally, I'm back home!" Dio's cheerful voice reverberated through the hallway as he flung the front door wide open and stepped into the comforting embrace of his family's home. The inviting warmth wrapped around him like a cozy blanket, and the delightful aroma wafting from the kitchen hinted at the culinary masterpiece being created by none other than his younger brother, Anthony.

"Hey, is Kai with you?" Anthony asked, a rosy hue creeping onto his cheeks. His crush on Dio's friend was evident, and he couldn't help but show it.

Though they were brothers, Dio and Anthony couldn't have been more different. Dio, with his bold dark hair and air of confidence, was a striking presence beside Anthony, whose long brown hair cascaded gracefully past his shoulders, complemented by a sprinkling of freckles that danced across his nose and cheeks. Anthony's bright emerald-green eyes sparkled with a hint of affection, giving him a distinct charm. His lean frame, more delicate in contrast to Dio's sturdier build, was comfortably clad in a red T-shirt and blue jeans.

"Yep, Kai's right behind me," Dio replied casually, dropping his backpack with a thud next to the couch.

With a relaxed stride, Kai entered the house, his backpack following suit beside Dio's as he placed a colorful convenience store bag on the kitchen table.

"Hey, Anthony, you like these right?" he exclaimed, handing over a bag of sour gummy worms.

"Yeah, I can't believe you remembered," Anthony said, his cheeks flushing an even deeper shade of red, a smile spreading across his face.

Seated at the kitchen table, Kai dug through the bag with purpose, skillfully laying everything out as if preparing for a serious feast. Meanwhile, Dio ambled into the kitchen, his curiosity piqued by the sight of his brother in action, crafting what promised to be a delicious batch of pizza bagels.

"Wow, those look amazing! I'm trusting you made extras for me and Kai, right?" Dio teased, his playful tone poking fun at Anthony's reputation for generosity when it came to snacks.

"Of course!" Anthony shot back with a smirk. "I'm just about done, so you might as well find a seat or something." He nimbly maneuvered past Dio, carrying the tray of bagels over to the kitchen counter while playfully nudging Dio aside.

Dio settled into a chair, the glow of his phone lighting up his face as he immersed himself in a captivating game. Meanwhile, Kai busied himself around the table, arranging plates and pouring drinks. Out of nowhere, he turned to Dio with a question that caught him completely off guard.

"So, how do we start looking for new bandmates?" Kai asked, his tone unusually serious.

Dio nearly dropped his phone in astonishment. "Wait, you're serious about this?"

"Of course!" Kai replied with enthusiasm. "You were the one who brought it up. I figured we could whip up some eye-catching posters with our contact info and stick them around town. Maybe we could hit up your dad and see if we can post some at his instrument store to speed up the process."

Dio blinked, still processing the wild idea. "You're relentless, aren't you?"

After a heavy sigh, he finally conceded. "Alright, let's do it."

"Wow," Kai grinned, "I thought it'd take longer to convince you."

"Well, you're eager, and honestly, why not? It could be fun," Dio shrugged.

"After we finish eating, maybe we should search for 'How to Start a Band' since neither of us has a clue where to begin," Kai suggested while lifting his cup and savoring a refreshing sip of his iced water.

"Sounds good to me!" Dio nodded.

Just then, Anthony came bustling into the dining area, a plate of freshly made pizza bagels held high. "Here you guys go-it's all ready!" His excitement was contagious as he placed the platter down with a flourish.

"So, what's this I hear about a band?" he asked, an inquisitive look on his face.

"Yeah," Kai jumped in, grabbing a pizza bagel with enthusiasm.

"Or we're just thinking about it... We need to find some extra hands first," Dio added, taking a bagel for himself.

As they dug into their meal, a comfortable silence enveloped the room, filled only with the sounds of munching and soft laughter. After enjoying their peaceful dinner, Dio and Kai cleared their plates, placing them in the sink before making their way to Dio's room.

Once inside, Dio took a seat at his desk, while Kai made himself comfortable on the bed. The room had a laid-back vibe, adorned with posters of Dio's favorite bands, a guitar leaning casually in one corner, and neatly arranged black bedsheets covering the bed, all creating a space that felt like a creative haven. The air was filled with excitement over what awaited them next-new music, new friends, and a new adventure yet to begin.
