mixed feelings

Anthony and jade were having a good time together, surprisingly. They played games, they made normal conversations. The air wasn't as thick anymore, and that, Anthony was grateful for. The girl still felt weird, she was having mixed feelings. She didn't know how to feel. But he was having fun with Anthony.

"Hey, can you count our tickets?" Anthony asked politely to the worker, handing over his and jades tickets. "Of course, give me a second." The worker started counting the tickets, and the two teens just made small talk. "You have 2,134 tickets in total. You can pick whatever you would like." The worker smiled.

Jade thought for a second, but decided on the pink bear. "Here you go!" The worker gave her to pink bear, "Have a good rest of your day!" Jade and Anthony smiled at her, and left. "So, uh, what are you gonna name the bear?" Anthony asked, looking down at the pretty girl.

"Hm," Jade's eye widen in excitement, "Bridget." She smiled, and looked up to Anthony, who was already looking at her. "I think that's a good name." He told her, smiling softly. Se felt flustered for some reason, why was she suddenly feeling like this? She thought.

"Why are you being so nice?" She said out of the blue. Really wondering why he was being so nice, considering he bullied her over the year. He didn't really have an answer, "I-i don't know." He said truthfully, looking over to her. They were sat on a bench nearby.

She just nodded slowly. "I'm sorry." He blurted out, which caused jade to turn her head to him. "For what?" She asked, raising her eyebrow. "For the bullying." He told her, "Well, you're lucky I don't hold grudges. So I forgive you, but I still don't think it's cool. And that your friends are assholes." She exclaimed truthfully, he chuckled at the last part.

"Yeah," He awkwardly said, after that they just sat in silence. But it wasn't an awkward silence, it was a comforting one. One where they didn't have to exchange any words, and they could just sit there. Jade took out her phone to check the time, it was 6:47pm. "Well, I should go. It's getting pretty late." She stood up, and faced the boy. "Yeah, me too. I had a good time." He told her, smiling. She nods, and copy's his actions, "Yeah me too."
