— long time no see —
JADE SAW ANTHONY AT THE STORE, so she went up to him. "Hey." She said, scaring Anthony. "Oh shit." He said, dropping the stuff in his hand. "Sorry." Jade apologized, she and Anthony both crouched down to grab the stuff that fell, their fingers grazing each other.
When they looked up, their faces were close. Flustered, jade back away immediately. She got up, along with Anthony. "Here you go." She stuttered, making eye contact with Anthony. "Thanks." He could feel the heat rising up his neck.
"Do you wanna hang out?" He asked, and jade nodded. "Sure." The two teens left the store, walking alongside each other. They were just talking, "Why haven't you left cobra kai yet?" Anthony suddenly asked, and jade deeply sighed.
"It's not that easy." Jade said. Anthony furrowed his eyebrows, "Sorry. You don't have to tell me." He stuttered, "No it's just..I can't. And neither can Tory." Jade spoke truthfully, she trusted Anthony. "Cobra kai is powerfully, Anthony. I'm sure you know that, but even if you tried to leave, you can't. It's like you're stuck there. It's not easy to leave, especially when you're one of their best fighters." Jade said, looking ahead of her.
Anthony nodded, glancing at her. "Do you wanna get ice cream?" Jade asked, stopping in front of the ice cream shop. "Sure." The two teens entered the shop, Anthony holding the door open for her. She thanked him, and the two walked to the counter. "Hello dears, what can I get you and your boyfriend today?" The old lady asked, the two teens glanced at each other, their faces heating up. "Uhm, he's not.."
"She's not my.." The teens stuttered, "Oh, I'm sorry. What can I get you guys today?" The lady smirked, knowing that they liked each other more than friends. "Can I just have a vanilla." Jade said, still flustered. "Chocolate, please." Anthony said, his face still red.
"Here you guys go." The lady gave them their ice cream. Jade went to pay, but Anthony beat it to her. "I got it." Anthony handed the money to the lady, the old women smiling at the two. "Well you guys have a good day." The two teens thanked her and said goodbye. "You know, you didn't have to pay. I had money."
"Well I did anyways." Anthony shrugged, "I have to go, but, I'll see you later." Jade smiled, she was about to do something very stupid. She gave him a kiss on the cheek, "Bye." She said quickly, walking away. "B-bye." Anthony stuttered, his fingers grazed his cheek, smiling cheekily. He walked away, his smile never leaving his face.
