I am finally out of this boot. My recovery process went quicker than what the doctors thought it would. And all I can do is thank God. I am finally stating to feel like myself again.

I look at myself in the mirror, put on the finishing touches of my lipstick. My phone vibrates "The Girls 🤍"

Danni-sooo I got a babysitter...I'm able to come tonight

Angela-yes sis...so happy plenty of tacos !!! And virgin margaritas 🤣

Fatima-I need a non virgin one

Angela-and we have plenty of those !

Danni-so who is all coming tonight?

Angela-the same crew

Fatima-plus Zac 🙄

Angela-T stop...we talked about this...

We have been doing Taco Tuesdays over Angela's house. Ever since our last vacation, and the proposal we haven't all really hung out. Angela is right...we did discuss Zac coming, being that Danni's husband and her fiancé really hit it off with him...I guess they have been gym buddies, that he can start back coming to our hangouts...this will be the first one he'll be invited too.

My phone rings. Kyle *Incoming Facetime* appears. I quickly fix my hair and answer it.

His chocolate self with his beautiful smile appears on my screen, I quickly blush.

Kyle-hey beautiful

Fatima-hey handsome...what's up? You on your way?

Kyle-yeah, I was just getting ready to say I'm at the store. Is there anything that I should pick up?

Fatima-definitely tequila

Kyle-oh y'all get down like that?

Fatima-trust me...you'll see

Kyle-I see how beautiful you look right now

Fatima blushes and shakes her head.

Fatima-hurry and get here

Kyle-I got you

And with that they hang up. She is excited, yet nervous to walk in with Kyle. Even though they were all close back in High School, they haven't hung out in a while.

Zac POV
I drive and head to Angela's house. I am really excited to see the gang, it's been a while since I've seen all of them.

I can't lie and say that my heart and mind isn't racing about who I will run into tonight.

I pull up and to Angela and Tonios beautiful home. I check myself in my rear view mirror. Before heading up to the front door.

Angela and Tonio appear to greet me. And welcome me in. I head into the living room with Danni and Shaun.

Tonio-Zac what you been up to brother? I've been so busy at the restaurant I've been missing the gym.

Shaun-nah you've just been lazy

They all laugh.

Angela-leave my man alone Shaun!

Zac-um just working brother...

Danni-so I'm hungry as hell...where is Fatima's late ass?

Angela laughs

Angela-she said she's pulling up now, in the meantime y'all head out back the table is all set up.
