Cake Crash.

Happy Summer!!!!!!! I have been on a hiatus, just resting from the school year!!!! Taking this break all in before the return!!!! But here we goooo...I'm not gone! I promise 😉

Fatima POV
Zac looks at me with pleading eyes, it takes everything in me to not open the passenger side. However I just can't.

Fatima-Zac please step away from my car.

Zac-we really doing this T?

Fatima-it's Fatima to you. You don't earn that privilege anymore.

Zac sighs and steps back from her car and puts his hands up in the air.

Fatima-thank you.

She says as she rolls up her window, as she drives away she stops at a red light, and grabs her purse with her anxiety medicine. A tear drops down from her eye, and she shoves them back in her purse.

She hits the stirring wheel, "Fuck...Fuck...Fuck" she screams out. Her phone buzzes she reaches back down to get it, her foot comes off the brake and hits the gas,

Her life flashes before her eyes as she goes through the red light, and a truck slams into the side of her car. The air bag comes out, and she blacks out.

Zac POV
I forgot that I had to meet Valerie at this cake tasting shit...man I really don't feel like being here, I wish she could have bought one of her girls or something. However I sit there and try to be in tune with what's going on.

Valerie-babe can you please get off your phone and help me decide.

She says through her teeth and a fake smile, the baker just smiles and cuts another slice of cake.

Zac sits up and sets his phone to the side, he can't get out of his head about Fatima. Wishing that it was her he was doing this with.

Zac-yeah...yeah baby I am sorry. What we got here?

Baker-well Valerie said your two favorite flavors are Carmel and chocolate, and she loves chocolate. So I am thinking about coming up with the perfect recipe.

Zac starts to tune her out as his mind wonders back off to Fatima. He feels Valerie hit his arm.

Valerie-did you hear her?

Zac-yes...that sounds wonderful.

Baker-do we need to do this another day?

Valerie-no...can you just give us a second?

Baker-of course

She stands up to go to the other side of the room. Valerie angrily turns to Zac.

Valerie-look what is your problem?? I thought we were fine after the sex we had earlier.

Zac-Val we are...I just got a lot of work shit on my mind right now...I'm just trying to make sure we have enough for the wedding of your dreams baby.

Valerie sighs and rubs the side of his face.

Valerie-look baby I know, and that's why I'm so excited to be starting this job at one of the top design companies in Atlanta. So that I can help as well. I want this to be everything we dream of.

Zac tries to put on a genuine smile. He rubs her thigh.

Valerie-look I'm going to go and let the baker know that we talked and we are ready to finish.

She kisses him before she stands up and heads over to the baker. Zac just shakes his head and sighs. And scrolls back on his phone.

Danni POV
It has been alot lately, especially with being 6 months pregnant. It feels like bills are stacking on each other. Shawn has been working so much over time...we barely get time for each other anymore.
