Fatima POV
I truly thought no one was in the building, but that explains why that light was on when I walked in.

Fatima-um...hey...Valerie

Valerie-oh my goodness, I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you Ms. Wilson

Fatima-no...no you're fine...are you um here...working or-

Valerie cuts her off.

Valerie-yeah actually, I am working on the finishing touches of my wedding dress!

Fatima-oh...oh yeah...that's wonderful

Valerie-well since we are here...if you don't mind...would you like to take a look at what I have so far? It would mean the world to me

Fatima-um...yeah...sure...

She says as she hesitantly stands up from her big pink office chair. She follows Valerie down the hall into one of the big designer rooms.

She sees the most beautiful wedding dress she has ever seen on a mannequin. Her mouth slightly opens in awe.

Valerie-so boss...what do you think?

Fatima-um...wow...Valerie this is amazing

She says as she walks over to feel the dress and examine it more closely. Valerie has a huge smile that appears on her face.

Fatima-you are so talented Valerie

Valerie-thank you Ms. Wilson that really means a lot

Fatima-of course...so when is the big day again?

Valerie-um actually it's in 2 weeks!

Fatima-wow, that's beautiful...I know you are so excited

Valerie-I am...I'm very nervous though, but being able to design my wedding dress at one of biggest fashion companies in the world, has been a dream come true...and it's also been calming me down a little...

Fatima-well I'm glad that I could help.

Valerie-um...Ms. Wilson...I'm sorry if I am overstepping, but are you doing okay?

Fatima-yeah-yeah...I'll be back full time at the office soon. And I'll sit everyone down and explain why I had to take a leave.

Valerie just smiles and continues to sketch.

Fatima-so with this beautiful wedding dress, we are going to have to meet and talk about you coming up with your own bridal line

Valerie-wait...are you serious???

She runs over to hug Fatima.

Fatima laughs and hugs her back.

Fatima-yeah...this really is beautiful.

Valerie-thank you...thank you!

She says with tears in her eyes. Fatima gets cut off with her phone vibrating in her pocket. She sees a FaceTime call from Zac, she declines it.

She notices the time and it's getting late, she needs to get back home to get ready for dinner tonight with Zac.

Fatima-well um Valerie, I must head out. It was good seeing you and thank you for showing me this beautiful dress.

Valerie-it was an honor

Fatima-alright, make sure you lock up. See you soon.

And with that she heads back to her office to grab her things and head out.

She gets in her car, and sees a 2 missed calls from Zac and a text message.

Zac-you just gon ignore me? 👀
