Finally, it was the day of the provisional license exam. You sat in the bus, looking at the seat in front of you, wondering if you'd be alright after not taking the time to train.

'I shouldn't have listened to Aizawa-sensei. Apparently, almost kicking the bucket once during training is enough to get me out of it. I really should've kept it up. Mimi will have no trouble with the exam, I know that. I just don't think I should stick around her to make sure I do too.'

"Yugo, move it! We're going to have to get off the bus eventually." Hikisaku said over you.

You looked around to see that the last few students were exiting the bus. They had waited for you to get off first, but you made them wait a bit too long.

You gripped the top of the seat in front of you, and pulled yourself up. Hikisaku simply sat up, and followed you out of the bus.

You jumped out of the bus without taking the steps down, your head completely missing the the door above.
Hikisaku stomped out of the bus slowly, making her presence known as she stopped and stood behind you.

You walked over to the rest of the class, who were in the middle of trash talking with students of another school. You and Hikisaku decided to join in, but you got called out before she could say anything.

"Hm? This is one of the famous U.A. Class 1A students? I don't have to beat you, I think I'll wait for a breeze to knock you over!"

"Keep underestimating me like that. Having to worry about one less person will make it all the easier for me to pass." You didn't even look up to see who said that, you just adjusted your gloves as if they were more important.

"Don't give them so much credit Yugo. They don't hold a candle to us in the first place. There's a reason we're in U.A., and they're in..... Wherever school they're from." Hikisaku walked away as she finished her sentence.

"We're from-" one of the students yelled out, but the door closing behind you and Hikisaku cut him off.

---------------------------------------------------------

You huddled around with the rest of the class, as you listened to the rules of the first half of the provisional license exam.

The most important part of this first half of the exam, is the fact that it's a guarantee that everyone won't pass the exam.

Every student would be given a set of targets to wear, and balls that they would use to hit the targets of other students.
In order to pass, one student would need to eliminate another, by being the one to knock out a student's last target.

It was cruel to think about, but the students of other schools weren't going to show you any remorse. As a student of U.A., you had to be on guard at all times, and show no mercy.

That wouldn't be a problem.

The class got to the area where they would start, before entering the soon to be battlefield. As the class placed the targets around their bodies, you walked up to Hikisaku to help her out.
As you stood up from fastening targets around her leg, you spoke to her.

"Mimi."

She noticed your tone of voice immediately, and her face grew serious as she looked down into your eyes.
