The evening air was crisp as Daniel, Kiriana, and Noah huddled together near the edge of the Hawthorn Academy campus. The trio had spent the afternoon strategizing, and Kiriana's latest idea was to investigate the Kennedy twins more closely. The twins' unsettling behavior and their possible involvement in the recent threats and murders made them prime suspects. Kiriana had suggested they check one of their lockers, and while the risk was high, the potential reward was worth it. She suggested they checked Melanie's locker, as she was the one that tried to attack Kiriana.

Noah, always up for a challenge, had brought his lock-picking tools—a skill he'd mastered over years of curiosity and necessity. They approached the locker in question, located in a less-trafficked section of the school's locker rooms.

"Alright, Noah," Kiriana said, her voice low and steady. "Let's see what's inside."

Noah nodded, slipping a set of delicate tools into the lock. His fingers moved with practiced precision, and within moments, there was a soft click. The locker door creaked open, revealing its contents. The boys leaned in, their faces a mix of anticipation and trepidation.

Daniel's eyes widened as he took in the sight. The locker was filled with an assortment of weapons—blades, concealed knives, and even a few homemade traps. The sheer volume and variety were alarming.

"What the—" Daniel began, his voice barely a whisper. "She has an arsenal in here."

Kiriana's gaze remained calm and focused. She rifled through the locker, her fingers brushing against the various items. Among the weapons, she found something even more troubling—several photographs. She pulled them out and laid them on top of the locker's contents.

The photos were candid shots of Daniel. They were taken from various angles and distances, showing him in different locations around the school. The images were unsettling, a stark reminder that someone had been watching him closely.

However, they weren't just normal unsuspecting photos of him. Melanie had drawn hearts around him in every picture, with some even including small messages on the back that read, 'I love you'.

Daniel's face flushed with shock. "What the hell? Does this mean she likes me or something?"

Kiriana's expression was thoughtful, her mind racing to piece together the implications. "It appears so. The weapons suggest they're prepared for something significant, but the photos indicate a more personal interest."

Noah let out a chuckle when he saw the photos, gaining annoyed looks from Kiriana and Daniel.

"Sorry guys, but I just think that's really funny," he said, clearly amused by the matter, "Someone has a crush on you, Daniel."

The two ignored him and continued to investigate the locker.

Noah, regaining his composure and absorbing the scene, looked at Kiriana. "What do we do with this? If we report it, we could get in trouble for snooping. We're already walking a fine line by investigating on our own."

Kiriana nodded, her demeanor unfazed by the discovery. "You're right. Reporting this could lead to repercussions for us, and it wouldn't necessarily lead to Julie and Melanie being caught. We need to handle this discreetly."

Daniel looked between them, his expression a mixture of concern and frustration. "So, what's our plan? We can't just ignore this."

Kiriana closed the locker, her face set in determination. "We need to be cautious. The fact that they're- she's watching you means we need to stay alert. Melanie is armed and dangerous, and I have no doubt that Julie is also. I'll review the photos I took more closely later, but for now, let's leave the locker as we found it. We need to avoid drawing attention."

Noah nodded in agreement. "I can make a physical copy of the photos, just in case we need them later. But we should be careful not to make any mistakes."

Kiriana gave him a grateful nod. "That's a good idea. Let's keep our findings to ourselves for now and focus on gathering more evidence without risking our standing here."

As they left the locker room, the gravity of their situation settled over them. Kiriana's composure remained intact, a testament to her experience with such unsettling discoveries. Daniel, however, was still processing the invasion of privacy and the potential threat it represented. The realization that he was being watched, coupled with the ominous presence of weapons, weighed heavily on him.

Noah's presence was a steadying force as they walked back to their common area. "We'll figure this out," he said, trying to offer reassurance. "We just need to stay focused and be smart about how we proceed."

Kiriana, noticing his anxious demeanor, placed a reassuring hand on Daniel's shoulder. "We're in this together. We'll use what we've learned to stay one step ahead of them. It's important we don't let our guard down."

Daniel took a deep breath, nodding. "Thanks, both of you. I'll try to stay alert. Let's keep working on this."

As the trio continued their investigation, they knew that the stakes had been raised. The discovery of the weapons and the personal photos revealed the seriousness of the twins' intentions. Despite the risks, they were more determined than ever to uncover the truth, and hopefully, stop Julie and Melanie's threats from intensifying.
