"BRYSON?! BRYSON WHERE ARE YOU?!"the once calm and quiet playroom was now filled with panic as the group within searched everywhere for their friend Bryson, who had randomly vanished, and in this "school", where one, singular mistake or accident could cause you to become..whatever Patricia, bailey and sherry had become, being alone would essentially be begging fate itself to transform you.
"come on- why did none of you watch him?! we all know he likes wandering off at times! especially when stressed!" theodore cried out.
"calm down! he couldn't have gone far! he's probably still human..maybe!" Stella said, hoping to lift everyone's spirits a bit.
a muffled yell from afar would cause those spirits to crash straight down however.
the group immediately ran to where they heard the yelling from as they found themselves in an area surrounded by some bookshelves and beanbags.
and on one of those beanbags, there laid both a bunch of loose clothing, and a large, opened book..along with something else that was smothered under it.
"oh my god..bryson has been turned into a book! oh, it's horrible!" Stella cried out in terror as Charlie lifted up the book and discovered two things:
1: thankfully, Bryson actually wasn't turned into a book.
2: sadly, she had been turned into a living lamp.
"..we're too late" Charlie mumbled, unaware that bryson was slowly losing her grip on the book she was desperately latching onto and was about to fall onto the floor.
"..WAIT! BRYSON!-"
(BONK!)
without any warning, Bryson fell straight onto the floor, hitting her head in the process.
"GAH!-..ow..heheh.." Bryson chuckled dizzily as she slowly got up with swirls in her eyes while little cartoony stars spun around her head.
"Bryson! are you okay?!" Stella cried out as she swatted the stars away, which caused Bryson to snap back to her senses as her eyes went back to normal and she shook her head a bunch.
"agh..AGH! stella?! how did you guys get here?!" bryson said as she looked around before suddenly freezing in place upon catching a glimpse of her hand.
"oh..oh dear god no..no no nO NO!" bryson quickly put her hands over her eyes as she felt panic swell in her.
"THIS CAN'T BE REAL! I-I MUST BE DREAMING! WH-WHAT ON EARTH DID I EVEN DO TO END UP LIKE THIS?!" bryson yelled out as she looked all around her body in terror while tiny tears appeared on the corners of her cartoony eyes.
while everyone else was trying to help her calm down, Bryson caught sight of something.
a book, specifically the one she was reading, titled "the boy in the dark".
"damn you..DAMN YOU!- GAH!" bryson tried to grab the large book and throw it in a fit of rage, only to find it was too heavy for her to easily carry.
"I don't wanna assume anything in this stressful situation..but does it seem like this book the cause of your transformation?" Dylan said as he picked up the book and was about to open it in curiosity.
"DYLAN! DONT OPEN IT! PUT IT DOWN! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IT CAN DO!" bryson practically screamed as Dylan dropped the large book in panic.
"brysons right, most of our transformations here started because of us touching random objects.." bailey mumbled.
"I didn't touch anything though! I just got really angry!" sherry said out loud.
"..wait, I may sound bonkers here, but I think I'm starting to guess a theme here" Theodore suddenly spoke.
