Alex: More... little more... Okay! That's good, right there!

Axyl and Cole stopped moving the banner on the upper balcony.

Axyl: So can we drop it now?

Alex: Yep, go for it!

And with that, the two boys undid the restraints on the banner and let it unfurl over the balcony, revealing an outline of Twilight's cutie mark. Across the rest of the upper level of the main atrium of the Pizzaplex, more banners were being unfurled, revealing the rest of the main 8's cutie marks. In the main area in front of the stage, table accessories and centerpieces were being laid out along with menus advertising all the different kinds of restaurants and food vendors in the Pizzaplex and that are going to be set up for Friendship Fest 2024. The Glamrocks watched Team Aurora as they darted all across the atrium trying to make sure everything was perfect and all set for when the festival started the very next day. Twilight collapsed at one of the tables and let out a sigh of exhaustion.

Glamrock Freddy: Maybe you all should take a break, you look exhausted.

Twilight quickly lifted her head back up and stared at the robotic bear.

Twilight (Frenzied): We can't take a break! Not today! We're so close to being done with everything, and it has to be ready by tomorrow!

Gregy: But you guys have been all over the place about this for the last week! I understand wanting everything to go smoothly, but I think it would do you guys some good to take a breather.

Alex came up and sat at the table across from Twilight.

Alex: Well, it is almost lunch time. We can take a breather then.

She takes out her phone and checks the time, 20 minutes till 11:00. She frowns.

Alex (Unamused): Then it's back to the grind.

Gregy looks around at all the banners and decorations the team had designed and set up for this event they hadn't done in 6 years. He could see several security S.T.A.F.F Bots and Bubba already starting to make their rounds. Knowing what had happened the last time they put together this festival, everyone could understand why they'd want security to be air-tight this time. Another group of team members entered the atrium and approached Twilight.

Twilight: Are the portals all set up?

Ava: Yup, they're set to open a little before 1:00 tomorrow.

Twilight: Perfect. And what about-

Her phone then chirped and she took it in her magic to see the notification. Her face immediately lit up upon seeing what it was.

Twilight: Never mind! Shining just texted me that they just left the hotel and will be here in 30 minutes!

Alex: Alright!

Glamrock Chica: Oh right, the "guests of honor."

Twilight giggles.

Twilight: I can't wait to see what the princess's think of this place. And I'm sure Flurry Heart will have a blast.

Sun (Excitedly): Eeeee! I can't wait to meet them! To think that we'd be meeting actual royalty!

Alex shot him a deadpan look.

Alex (Matter-of-Factly): You do know that Twilight and the other girls, as well as our friends from Chima also fall into that category, right?

Sun's rays retract slightly.

Sun (Embarrassed): Oh... oh that's right...

Alex just smiles and shakes her head in amusement. She looks up again to see that almost all the rest of the gang we're taking seats at their reserved tables. It was clear even from this distance that they were all exhausted. She stands up and addresses them.
