Mikey shot his eyes open and sat up straight breathing heavily. Sweats run down his temples, his heartbeat accelarating like he just run kilometers of marathon.
What happened?
It's their sports day right?
So how come he is there?
Wait..
Ah, that is right. It was their break and he decided to nap a little at the rooftop after telling his sister. Only to be visited by a perilious far fetched dream.
Or not.
He could feel it. He could sense it. He saw with his own eyes how the future him suffered death from the hands of the Black Lotus.
He felt it.
He felt the pain.
He saw the teary eyes of himself as he lay down motionless on the pavement with bullets lodging all over his body.
He heard the call.
He heard himself ask for one thing.
Happiness for his younger self whom he knew is still living with his beloved sisters.
Mikey grabbed his head, trying to drawn out the pain as tears streamed down his face.
"No. No, no, no! You can't be dead! Why?! Why are you down there?! Get up, Majiro!"
He yells trying to get rid of the image he vividly saw on his dream. No, why is this really happening?
He looked at his shaking hands. His hands that the future him very much wished to have hugged his siblings one last time before that tragic incident.
He is fortunate. He still has everyone around him but who knew his future self is all alone and suffering in pain emotionally and physically?
The future him is super skinny almost skin and bones.
That is bearable, but the tears in his eyes? It's breaking his heart over and over again.
Wait, back up a bit.
Did this happen already or is it a premonition? It should be. It has to be!
Jumping from where he was lying down, he raced down the stairs with only one goal in mind. He must do this or he'll regret it for the rest of his life.
"Oi! Mikey! Where are you running off to? We teamed up on the next game, we needed to warm up- oi!"
Izana was cut off by a harsh pull from the younger, his hold tight. The Tenjiku leader knew right away there is trouble seeing the panic striken Toman president.
He spoke no more and just allowed himself to be dragged to where he needed them to go.
Just as they were about to exit the halls, Gabriella appeared who by then was looking for the both of them.
"Ah, there you are you two! You keep disappearing- huh? Bro, you okay? Did you cry-whoa!"
Just as what Mikey did to Izana, he as well pulled his sister with him. Students were merely looking at them confused and curious. Giving way, they didn't have to ask anything given the scary vibe coming off from no other than Mikey himself.
At last they reached the court where Elara was busy coaching her students, unaware of their approaching presence.
"Nee-chan!"
Elara flinched at the call, as she and everyone looked at them.
"What's with this atmosphere? Dude, you okay?" The worried older sister quirries feeling concerned at the red rimmed eyes of Mikey.
