Whatever Happened to that Diamond Drop

a simple walk

It was a nice if not slightly windy night and a young girl that went by the name of Carol was walking around the city feeling a little bitter, cuz a few hours earlier she had gotten into a rather intense fight with her best friend

Carol: stupid Filia, getting all defensive cuz I made a dumb joke about your dumb family.

Carol then saw a sign that caught her attention

Carol: what the, they're still open at this hour? *Shrugs* might as well look around for a little bit.

She then went inside her favorite clothing store in an attempt to blow off steam, gleefully looking around all the cutesy outfits

Carol: hmm oh that's a lovely pair of shorts.......... although I think she would look better in then me.  Ooh that's such a cute tank top I'm sure if I bought two of those me and Filia would...look good in... matching outfits.........why can't I get that stupid bitch out of my head

Employee: excuse me Miss do you need any assistance

Carol: huh, oh um no I'm fine

Employee: are you sure, if there's any item you're having trouble finding I'd be more than happy to help

Carol: n-no thank you I said I'm fine, I don't want to trouble you.

Employee: oh it's no trouble, it's literally my job to make sure everyone has a fabulous shopping experience

Carol: I SAID I'M FINE, BUZZ OFF......

Employee:.........

Carol:..... sorry, I'll just.... I'll just get going

Carol then slowly and awkwardly started to walk out of the store before continuing her walk around the town, feeling a little angry at herself for blowing up at a random store employee

As she wonders around the streets she saw a stray kitten go into an alley and decided to follow it

But out of nowhere..... she just blacked out

The next morning she woke up to a sizzling sound and she slowly opened her eyes and took in her surroundings as she got up with a massive headache

Carol: ugg.... what happened

Cerebella: oh good you're up

Carol then slowly turned her head and saw women with a dark skin tone in a nightgown with a hair color that was a little bit pink and a little bit teal at the same time

This woman was a complete stranger to Carol and she to panic a little bit once it clicked in the she was in a strangers home with no I idea how she got here

Cerebella quickly picked up on her panicked expression and started to approach her in hopes of calming her down

Carol: ahhh!!! Please don't touch me, I've got nothing on me and I promise there's lots of girls at my school that are far prettier than I am!!!

Cerebella: whao whao, calm down I'm not going to do.......any of that to you

Carol: then why did you kidnap me you sick freak!!!

Cerebella: well..... Technically I didn't

Carol: what do you mean by that

Cerebella: well I saw some crazy nurse lady inject you with some sort of drug, so I beat her up before she can do anything else she could do anything else to you

Carol continues to stare at Cerebella with suspicious eyes making her distrust of the woman very apparent

Cerebella: look I don't exactly expect you to trust me after that but believe me the only reason I brought you back here was because I had no idea where you live and I didn't want to leave you out there
