Looking up at the building in front of me, I watched as students piled through the front doors.
Smiling, laughing.....disgusting; I exhaled through my nose before making my way inside the building trying not to touch anybody, and glaring at those whose eyes connected with mine.
Walking through the maze of hallways I reached my classrooms door, looking in-front of me at the looming entrance with the lettering 1-A on it.
Reaching I grabbed the Handle before sliding it open, immediately I wanted to leave and go back home. It was pure chaos a blue and blond arguing something about respecting the desks, a green haired kid being surrounded by others all loudly chatting.
I casually shut the door behind me before heading to the back of the classroom finding a seat in between a bird and a student with dual hair. Setting my stuff on the hook of my desk I reached into my bag grabbing my earbuds putting them in but not turning on any sound, using them to muffle the world around me.
I took one last look around me before fabricating my cards in the palm of my hand, the deck giving off a red smoking glow before the color died down showing a black and silver set of metal playing cards. Sighing through my nose again I quickly shuffled them setting myself up to play a game of solitaire ignoring the world around me.
I waved my hand and the cards set themselves in place to start my game, soon card after card Ace after Ace was set in a neat pile I could feel a stare coming from my right side the two tone was watching me.
I could feel his eyes watching in curiosity as I moved the sharp metal, unfortunately before I could finish my game I noticed all the students leaving their seats and making their way to the door.
What did I miss? Obviously we're going somewhere.
Rising from my seat I'm the last to pass the man holding out uniforms, grabbing one I'm stopped by him " already not paying attention on your first day? If your going to pass my class your going to need to put in some effort"Turning I look back into his eyes before speaking
"Don't act like this is anything more than a favor to my mom, I'll pass your little class but don't expect extra effort. We both know I'm only here for one reason"
I narrowed my eyes in a warning glare before leaving the room and following the footsteps I could track down the hall. Suddenly stopping I forgot one thing, holding out my hand I could feel my cards float out of the classroom before depositing themselves in a neat stack in the palm of my hand, quickly twisting my wrist I made the cards disappear before shoving my hands in my pocket and continuing down the hall.
Slowly catching up to the others I quickly changed in the locker room before meeting outside,
"Listen up! We're going to be starting with a quick quirk assessment test, Bakugo!
The pointy haired blonds head rose showing a scowl across his face
" you finished top of your class in the exam, how far could you throw a ball in middle school?"
"67 meters what's it to you?"
I watch as a ball is tossed to the blond and the rules explained, no leaving the circle aside from that anything goes.
Intrigued I watched as he stood in the circle before shouting the word DIE at the top of his lungs sending the ball flying with an explosion.
Maybe....maybe this school won't be so boring after all? Soon a feeling I know to well started to rise, it's a tight itching in my chest I know what it is, it's the reason I was sent to this school, the reason I need to be monitored a deep seeded need for some action.
Rubbing my chest I try and push it down ignore the feeling, ignore the want, ignore the need to feel the pressure of another in my hands.
Clenching my jaw I could feel the teachers stare looking up I meet his eyes watching me before going back to the others pairing them up to do different activities.
Silently waiting for my turn I watch them race each other some better than others slightly, then some that outrank the lower ones by a large margin. No sooner than my watching start did I hear my name being called slowly standing and walking to my starting spot I see a red head standing next to me
"HI, let's both do our best!"
I watch as he does a quick pose flexing his biceps before getting in a starting position, leaning downward I activate my quirk into my legs all the way to my feet, feeling my eyes glow a low tone red and a slight red mist coming off the souls of my feet I hear the gun blow.
Quickly I took off feeling the extra energy and strength making me faster as I reached the finish I heard a robot call out 6.28 as my time, deactivating my quirk I slowly walked back to the bench choosing to continue people watching in peace but not before a certain red head stood in my way.
" DUDE! That was so MANLY! How did you do that!?" Lookin down at the excited boy I tilted my head a bit, what was he wanting? A thanks? An explanation? I don't understand; I slowly furrowed my eyebrows before walking around him deciding to ignore his presence all together.
I could see the confused look on his face as he stood where I had left him before he walked back to his own place on the bleachers.
The other assessments flew by, I watched a 6 armed teen crush a grip strength tester, while I tested a 172 due to use of my quirk in my hands.
Watching the standing long jump take place my focus was on a small brown haired girl I watched as she put her hands together before practically floating herself away, I had to see Aizawa grab her foot with his scarf like a parade float just to bring her down. Once my turn again I did the same as for the running I focused my energy into my legs letting me clear the sand landing and a crouched position on the other side.
Standing myself back up I made my way to the next test, the side steps using the same technique I sped up my turn before making my way back to my spot in the bleachers leaning against the chain fence they have so kids don't fall off.
Laying my head against the fence I shut my eyes deciding to rest a moment before the next test. That was until the bird decided the best place to sit was on my bench, I could tell he wanted to say something but opted out of it at the last second. Letting out a small sigh I patiently waited for my turn at the ball throw, I watched as one by one the others were called, the brown haired girl has the highest score considering its infinity I don't think we're getting better than that. Others getting much lower numbers, the time passed slowly student after student before I heard my name being called to the base.
Rising to my feet I tiled my head to the left as I stepped down the metal benches hearing a satisfying crack come out of the back of my neck I let out a sigh of relief the tension being gone.
I grabbed the out stretched ball from the hand of my teacher before infusing in with my power immediately the ball started glowing red and letting off deep red smoke.
Getting into throwing position I reeled my arm back before throwing the ball, I quickly heard the air pop as it flew through the sky I watched the ball for as long as I could before it got lost in the sun. Turning around I watched as aizawa showed the score 253,794 meters I looked at the crowd some faces in awe others in indifference, but one particular in anger.
