DEAREST (ShadowPeach Fanfic )

If something doesn't sound accurate, I just winged it from memory. Also, this takes place after season five, it's my take on what would happen next etc.

Hundreds had now gone by. It had now been somewhere between the year 2030 and 2040. The Dynasty Era had long come to an end, and after Sun Wukong's adventure to the west with The Great Monk Tang Sanzang or as many call him Xuanzang for short. The Monkey King had found his successor after the whole DBK incident when he was released from his imprisonment for the long hundred years that he had been trapped where Sun Wukong had kept him with his Golden Cudgel, also known as Ruyi Jingu Bang.

( I love it when it is called this. ) 

Starring in the view was the Monkey King, Sun Wukong's successor MK, also known as Monkie Kid. Smiling brightly after just finishing his training. MK fell over into the dirt of the mountain of flowers and fruit. Thinking to himself about all the things he had to do to get where he is now. Finding the staff was a mere accident in the very beginning, but it happened to be more than that now. MK found out who he truly was and where he came from. He was made and born from the same stone as Sun Wukong. Which would make even the other his father. He didn't want to admit it at first, because his childhood began where he was found by his other fatherly figure who took him in. Pigsy was a dad to MK as he grew older. Sun Wukong plopped himself into his flying nimbus and stretched his tail out lazily, "well done, bud. You did a great job during our training." he would praise. Being praised was something MK loved hearing from his mentor. "Aww, yeah well I wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for you. And the help of my friends!" MK chirped up, watching a few of the monkeys come over and slap fruit into his face. He got up and greeted them in his monkey form, his tail swaying back and forth lightly behind him.

 Speaking to Nuwa beforehand about his so-called sacrifice; her saying that it was supposed to be different and him mending the pillar of heaven was for the sake of the world. Yet he managed to come back and it was still weighing on him. His shoulders tried to stay straight and high with happiness that he had even survived, but it was still bothering him. After the encounter with Xiangliu, he never did find out who that one demon was. All he knew was that he was a nine-headed demon from his recent encounter with him. 'All you simply did was open the cage'. He remembered hearing, looking at his hands and trying to forget all the trauma that had occurred. Wukong got trapped in the ink scroll. MK had to face his inner monkey demon, or as he calls him Ink demon MK. MK found out that he had much more to him than he ever thought and he never even questioned it. Sun Wukong noticed this from his cub. Hopping down from his nimbus and wrapping an arm around him. "Don't worry so much, bud. Things are going to be better from now on, I promise."

"You said that the last time, Wukong." Came a familiar voice up in the trees. It was his partner, Macaque. They had recently gotten themselves out of chaos, but things seemed to have calmed down better. Xiangliu had made a grand entrance when it came to the end of the world, or so-called 'end'. But that didn't stop MK from feeling like something else was coming. He had shrugged and remembered himself saying the words, 'What if they're right? What if we are nothing but chaos'? "No. I mean it this time, Plum. This time will be different, I'm sure of it!" Wukong spoke up toward his dark-haired partner. Rubbing MK's back to reassure him. "Yeah. Yeah! You're right! It'll get better!" MK pipped up, he had grown used to using his monkey form often. Still uses his human form now and then when he is called in for work. 

Speaking of Pigsy's noodles, he had been late as per usual. Causing Pigsy when he had gotten back to yell at the top of his lungs and scream the usual "YOU'RE TWO HOURS LATE" to him. While MK had forgotten to send some of his clones to tell his other dad figure about the training. "Heh, yeah sorry! I was caught up in training with the Monkey King." 

Mei was on her phone searching for puppy videos and heard him say this. "You're always training with Monkey King though, when is that new? The bad has already passed yet he trains you still?" She asked with a giddy voice and laughed at MK's reaction. "Well, yeah. He wants me to be prepared for that nine-headed snake guy who comes back from- wherever." MK shuttered from the thought of Xiangliu. "Kid, he needs to learn that life is-"

"Life is cooking. Yeah. Uh-huh! I know. But Pigsy, Monkey King wants to be sure I am keeping up on my part as being a-" Another flashback came to him of being inside of the ink scroll and- oddly being attacked by himself. He found that he was also a stone monkey. How did that work? Why did Nuwa think it was a good idea? And what did that nine-headed demon think it was okay to wake him up eons early? It seemed like he wanted MK to know what life and love was like. The feeling of what friendship had been. It was something that the demon before him in his recent memories hadn't known of until he met MK. " Just know that you'll always have a place here. Even if you recently found out that you are like the great Monkey King, huh?" Questioned Pigsy, tapping MK on the shoulder. The other nodded and smiled a bit, he was thankful he had such a wonderful father figure. What confused him was, he found out that Wukong was his dad. And Macaque, was also his-- dad? Wait, hold up. He told in his head. So, if Nuwa placed me there, that means they both- uh- wow nope. I'm not going to think about how that works, or my brain might explode. MK told in his head, hearing the cooing laughter of his inner ink demon. 'May as well get it out of the way~' He heard in his mind, and the deepest dark part of his subconscious he saw Ink!MK chilling in that same spot as before. Twirling his tail that he had been holding onto, smugly grinning at the other. 'Hey there, bud! Long time no chat-' Said Ink!MK, grinning widely. MK just had the thought of saying he was just using the form, and he took a break. Ink!MK bursts out in a fit of mischievous laughter, 'Oh. I know. I know all too well.' 

"MK!! Hello? Earth to MK!" Mei was waving her hand in his face and he blinked suddenly. "Wha? Oh sorry, Mei! I was deep in thought!" MK pipped up through his nervous laughter, "You sure you're okay? You seemed to be thinking more than you should." Tang announces. Slurping his soup, causing Pigsy to get irritated by the sound. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop doing that?" He questioned and Tang simply chuckled, "When pigs fly." he joked and the other was chasing him. "What did you just say?!" And everyone was laughing at how it looked. "Get a room you two!" Mei teased and Sandy cleared his throat, "I got two movie tickets that I haven't used. Although, I think Pigsy should take this time to see that it's for him and Tang." Sandy replied and MK just gaped at him. Plopping into the seat next to Sandy "Movie tickets?" MK asks suddenly, "Oh yeah! I talked to Sandy about doing it for these two lovers." Mei pipped. "Awwh! Look at them! A couple of secret love birds!" "It's not a secret if everyone knows about it." Spoke Macaque through MK's shadow. Scaring the living hell out of him, he fell straight out of his seat in a yelp. "Holy shit, Macaque! Don't do that!" MK snarled out by accident. Covering his mouth when the room went quiet to his sudden foul language. Pigsy stopped chasing Tang around and Tang had noodles sticking out from his mouth. While everyone else was quiet and looking at him. Mei cleared her throat and burst out in laughter, "my Monkie man swore!" she cheered. Laughing her ass off, "Mei. That isn't supposed to be funny." Pigsy told her off. "Aww, but look at how Macaque appeared like a Pokemon!" MK heard this and chuckled. "Yeah, sorry. I didn't mean to swear, it's just the fact that he does this thing where he comes out of nowhere. It could be a coincidence that he's here." MK responded. 

"It's more than a coincidence when I come out of nowhere, bud," Macaque replied after everyone went quiet. "So what are you here for, dad- er- Macaque?"

I heard for a split moment that the kid had called me Dad. My ears twitch and perk up to the mention of it. But I play pretend as if I didn't hear him even say this. "I'm here to check in to see if you need anything."

"Like??" 

"I dunno, what does a kid like you even like, huh?" I asked and he was thinking. "Oh, I know! Popcorn! I was planning on watching Monkey Cop later with Mei!" "Yea,h son! Monkey Cop!" Mei cheers and wraps her arm around MK's shoulder. "Popcorn, huh? Yeah okay, done. Anything else?" I asked with sarcasm lacing my voice, MK noticed this and shrugged, while Pigsy just faces palmed and groaned. "The kid needs to work first, then- you know." 

"I get it. Here, kid. This is for you-" It looked like that one lantern I had before that stupid guy, what was his name? Mayor? Yeah, he disturbed my shadow play after I broke it the first time. It was annoying that I had to serve under Lady Bone Demon at the time and ended up having to fight a fucking possessed Wukong. I shivered at the thought. Never do I ever want to face that side of him again.
