Sorry

''I'm sorry!'' you text,

Thinking what lie you're gonna say next,

Playing the victim, as always,

Thinking I don't know your ways.

''No, no, it's okay!'' I respond back,

Knowing I'll be the anti-hero, knowing you know how to fake cry,

I know you're not sorry, It's so clear to the eye!

The lies you tell, the truths you hide,

I can see now, how many times you lied:

I asked you: ''Do you want to know more about my interests?''

You say: ''Yes, yes! Of course! I promise, I'll see them, of course!''

But we both know. There's a difference.

To your actions and words.

I'm afraid, I don't really trust you anymore,

Little old me would've swore:

''That is a lie! A cruel stupid lie!''

Saying to my brain that I'll try,

Harder and harder to understand you.

But this isn't my fault, it's yours

I need to stop putting my blood into our friendship,

And you leave with all your white lies, thinking you can still keep,

Me...

You think:

That I'll continue listening to your favourite things,

But you won't listen to mine,

That I'll continue laughing at your little strings,

But you won't laugh the same for me.

That I'll continue to give wind to your bloody wings,

But you won't give my wings any air...

You think that bandages heal bullet holes,

But I know you say sorry just for show,

I help you at your low,

But who will help me?

And girl don't be sorry for me,

Be sorry for yourself,

Cause someday I'll find a true friend not like anyone else...

And you'll be sorry that you lost me,

Trying to listen to all my stories,

Drinking a cup of tea.

But I'll be long gone...

Cause I'm tired of all your champagne problems,

I'm tired of all your shit,

And you'll admit,

That you lied,

But till then, consider I basically died

Inside..

Am I mad?

Am I sad?

Well, I'm sorry,

That I can see your lies!

And I'm sorry,

That I can see them with my eyes!

And I'm really sorry,

That I can feel time that flies!

I'm sorry that I know you aren't sorry..
