It's been 2 days since you and Firefly's... accident. The girl still isn't talking to you, making a grumpy face and looking away each time you past by each other in the spaceship, the classic tsundere act you'd see in typical animes, although you do wonder if it was actually just the tsun part. At least you're seeing her actual figure instead of the SAM armor, so that's cool... probably.

Now, you were at the cafeteria again, grabbing yourself a nice snack for the evening. Using the Omni-synthesizer, you created some Oak Cake Rolls for yourself after doing some research on the recipe and ingredients. You made two of them, and was already munching on one of them. It was then you heard a door opening sound coming from the cafeteria. You looked towards the door to see...

Oh, it's Firefly.

You get a strange sense of deja vu, as the girl looks towards your direction and looks right into your eye, and immediately scoffed and looked away while making a pouty face. You thought it looked kinda cute, but you kept that to yourself as she walked towards the counter next to you. She seemed to be searching for food recipes, seems like she wanted a snack too.

Trying to fill the silence, you tried initiating a conversation.

"So you're looking for something to eat?"

The girl scoffed, pouted, and looked the other way. You let out a heavy sigh.

"Hey, I said I was sorry multiple times already, alright? Besides, I didn't see anything anyway. I closed my eyes immediately."

The girl slowly looked towards you with sharp eyes, while maintaining a serious tone.

"You promise?"

"I swear on Kafka's katana that I did not see anything at all that night," you said as you placed a palm in the air and another on your chest.

Firefly's pouty face dissipated, and now she was looking away but with a more softer tone.

"If that's the case... I guess I can trust you... for now." She said as she placed her hair behind her ear as she continued searching for recipes. The room fell to silence once again.

"So... you're looking for something... to eat?" you said, repeating the exact same words you said on your first attempt to break the silence.

"I guess so... But nothing seems to interest me at the moment," Firefly said as she rapidly scrolls through the list of cake roll recipes. You came over to her screen and saw her particular niche.

"Oh, you're craving for some cake rolls, are you? I have an Oak Cake Roll right here actually. It's quite delicious." You said as you pointed to the plate of another untouched Oak Cake Roll as you bit down on the one that you were munching on before.

Firefly stopped scrolling to look at you munching on the cake roll, then towards the untouched cake roll on the plate.

"Is it... really that delicious?"

"Yeagh, gno aheahg, tryg itg," you said as you kept munching.

"Al-... Alright... If you don't mind..."

Firefly then walked to the plate, grabbed the cake roll, and took a bite. As the textures flow through her tongue and the flavors melt in her mouth, you could see Firefly's entire face lit up, with a huge smile on her face.

Then, she took another bite, then another, then another... by the time you finished chewing, she had already finished her portion.

"That... was delicious!!" Firefly exclaimed, looking at the crumbs situated on the now empty plate.

You let out a chuckle.

"Glad that you liked it. I can share you the recipe if you want."

"Yes please!" Her face was now filled with a wide smile, totally different to the girl that was just pouting and scoffing just minutes before that. And with that, you both shared an evening, just eating Oak Cake Rolls together.

It was now night according to system time, and Silver Wolf was in her room, playing video games as per usual. Suddenly, the door to her room burst open, and in came the girl that just finished eating almost 50 Oak Cake Rolls. She was half-skipping into the room, and had a big smile on her face, humming a tune as she enters the room and lays on Silver Wolf's bed, staring at the ceiling.

"Oak Cake Rolls, Oak Cake Rolls~"

"Someone's in a good mood. Did something happen?" Silver Wolf said as she continued jamming her fingers on her keyboard.

"Oh, nothing really~" Firefly responded with a light tone, continuing to hum her Oak Cake Roll tune.

"...Oak Cake Rolls?" Silver Wolf thought to herself, and reckons that she shouldn't be asking any further.

"By the way, have you finally forgiven the new guy for flashing him?"

Firefly stopped humming her tune and stood her back up from the bed, now in a sitting position and looking towards Silver Wolf, who was still playing her games.

"I-I didn't flash  him!" Her face was now slightly red and embarrassed again, and her upbeat mood disappeared for a moment.

"From your description of what went down, that certainly sounds like what happened."

"Well... he says that he didn't see anything, so I'll believe him. For now at least." After Firefly said that, she laid back on the bed, and her upbeat mood returned, smiling and waving her hands to the beat of her humming tune.

"I see." Silver Wolf said in a monotone voice as she continued playing her games.

Firefly looked towards Silver Wolf's ceiling, still humming her tune. Then, she remembered back to the scene where you were smiling, giggling and chuckling beside her when she was eating her Oak Cake Rolls, and Firefly couldn't help but let out a small giggle herself as she grabbed Silver Wolf's pillow and hugged it tightly. She was also rolling around a little bit while still hugging the pillow. Silver Wolf couldn't help but look back at the girl with a weirded out glance.

"... did you hit your head on something?"
