After what seemed to take forever, we would finally end up in a dried-up desert area. Beached and rusted ships surrounded us, some of them were small merchant ships, but I could also see large military ships.

"Welcome to the shipyard Lyric." Josh said as he operated the tank.

"How much is the rent here?" I'd say jokingly.

"Good one."

I looked around the interior of the M1 Abrams. It looked pretty nice, it wasn't that comfortable, but still was pretty nice. The radio would suddenly begin to beep.

"Unidentified vehicle operator, state your name, code, and cargo."

"Josh Maison, 240915, I got a human with me, he's friendly."

"Alright Mr. Maison, you are able to proceed. Nice ride."

"Courtesy of the mechanic."

I would open the turret hatch and look outside. We would be approaching a beached United States Aircraft carrier. It had metal fences surrounding the carrier and a large area in front of it. We would enter the fenced area. I saw a lot of trailers and trucks and so many people moving around. It seemed like a really busy place.

"Welcome to the base of the Will of Man."

I would climb out of the tank.

"Wow . . . they really got it going good here."

I could see a few people looking at the tank. Josh would also get out of the tank.

"Its surprising what two years of hard work can get you. Now granted over 7,000 people are settled here."

"7,000?!? Really?"

"Yeah, really."

I could see a military helicopter taking off.

"That's a UH-60, they are probably going on a Search and Recover mission." Josh would say. "They found that in a bunker in North Dokota."

My phone would start to ring . . . wait, I had a phone? Vernon must've given it to me. I'd take it out and accept the call I was receiving.

"Is this Lyric I'm talking to." The person on the other side of the call said.

"Who's asking?"

"It's Vernon, from the bunker."

"Then yes, it's Lyric."

"Look, I've been watching the radars, and I've noticed a lot of movement, they seem to be heading near your location. I'd tell you guys to haul ass to get them out, but if you want to have less of your kind out and about, you can let them be. Gas Mask has gone off the damn radar too. Be careful."

"W-wait what?"

Just then, what I assume was an alarm would begin to go off in the base. I could then see everyone stopping what they were doing and heading to the aircraft carrier.

"Don't forget Lyric, time's ticking down, gotta make a choice." The call would end.

"Lyric what's going on?" Josh would ask me, racking his shotgun.

"Vernon said something is approaching this base."

I could see an attack helicopter take off in the distance.

"Lyric get back in the tank."

We'd both get back in the tank, the radio was going off.

"-his is outpost D-1, we got SHCD units heading towards HQ! Heading 192, I repeat, SHCD units heading towards H-" The radio would cut off.
