We were preparing a late lunch after we reached our resort; All tired from the activities we did today. Ziplining and bungee jumping!
Even though I was really scared to do bungee jumping, I really enjoyed it.
Then after returning, we all took a break before preparing lunch. We can obviously have food the resort offers us but everyone wanted to do this on their own. And I wouldn't lie, I really did enjoy this doing with them.
since today everyone was tired, we were simply making some Maggie. We had snacks on our way there so no wanted to have a full meal.
I was helping Siara in chopping the vegetables. While doing my work, my mind instantly wandered towards the things that happened today.
I was scared to do the bungee jumping alone. Noor was scared of heights so she refused to do it. While Siara and Anahira already did it way before me.
I asked Arsh to join me instead and he agreed. Reassuring me, he checked the ropes twice and before I even knew it, we jumped. I don't think I've ever screamed so loud in my entire life before. Arsh held me close the entire time and I was so grateful. It was a scary yet memorable experience.
I looked into his eyes, my fingers clutching his arms, I looked at him as he was loving this. The thrill, the rush and everything. Even though, I was scared, he held me in his arms and reassured me so I could enjoy this with him as well.
While I was in his arms, looking into his eyes, I felt lost. I didn't even realize when everything ended until he pointed it out by asking me if I enjoyed it.
I nod because I did. Maybe not the activity but looking into his eyes and being lost. The way everything seemed to cease out.
Something wrong.
Soon, we were done cooking and had our Maggie While talking to each other. We were cleaning everything up, when Arsh walked towards me grinning,
"I made a new friend."
He held a golden retriever pup in his arms making me smile. The pup was so cute!
I instantly took him in my arms and played with him.
"Where did you find him? What's his name?" I looked up at Arsh grinning.
"He's the owner's pet, his name is coco."
I pat coco making him lick my face,
"Aren't you a cutie,coco?" I laughed holding him up making him woof.
A drop landed on my face making me confused, is he peeing on me?
Soon, a light drizzle of rain started making everyone rush inside. Coco jumped out of my arms and ran inside too. I chucked and looked at Arsh.
He was helping others in carrying things inside so I also joined him as well.
