Without knowing, now they are in their 4th year in the university and still living together. Honestly, Wyn couldn't believe it at all. It was because even after a year or two, they are still fighting like dogs. Mostly because of something simple such as a cigs butt just because sometimes Wyn nor Serkan forgot to clean. Or how Rayinu shouldn't wash the dishes to help Juniper because it still felt oily. Or Rayinu who was once mad to Wyn because he thought Rayinu's papers as trash and scribbled it on the back.

They like to fight like there was no tomorrow. Screaming, throwing things or silence for a full month. But whenever they got too angry, it never made them want to move out. The solid reason is because they already put in good money for the apartment and didn't want to waste it. Moreover, Juniper always gulped down his frustration by forgiving, apologizing and meddling to each of his friends kindly. Maybe because he never paid any money on the lease and he knew that fact too. Or Wyn liked to think because Juniper doesn't want to lose them.

It was only in 3rd year of uni that Juniper promised them to pay the lease with them too. He was getting stable from model gigs that he's got. But since he suddenly got a recommendation to get into an acting academy, he needed the money to fund himself there.

Juniper told them that he can't pay anymore, he looked down, feeling ashamed and even said he would be fine if they didn't want him anymore. He would find a cheaper place since he also can't go back to uni after dropping out. The other three only found it funny because no one would want Juniper to move out. Either way, they three have enough money to pay the lease for one more year, with or without Juniper's money.

Actually they won't let Juniper pay too since he cleaned the apartment so much that it would be a burden for them to make him pay too. Then, Serkan was joking about Juniper cleaning the house already worth a year of leasing the apartment.

So, even though Wyn was a little hurt by what Juniper said about his choice about music, he knew it was the truth. Wyn held no grudge against him, he was just sad at the moment. Coming from Juniper, Wyn could understand why he pointed that out.

Juniper's cold act always coated his warmth. At first, you didn't know he was that kind and had that kind of warmth.

Once the bold Serkan was really embarrassed because his father was caught in a cheap motel with a woman and he couldn't hold his head high.

We all told him that it was definitely not his fault. He even had to go to the country that his father got caught and clean the mess even while the news got out. He was so mad and embarrassed because why would his rich father go there?

Then, Juniper touched his chin and told him to hold his head high. He even stared at those people who looked at Serkan mockingly after the news spread. He kept saying, "Do you have any problem?" with a smile that could freeze the room.

That kind of Juniper was so strange yet there's warmth that all three could feel.

And now, Wyn was playing his guitar to make his song that has been saved in his phone when Juniper just arrived home.

Wyn took a glance at the clock that showed it was 2 AM. Juniper must be tired but instead of sleeping, he just put his things on the dining table and started washing the dishes that he didn't even contribute any dirty plate nor glass. He's a clean-freak and not only his space but the entire apartment.

"Making a new song?" Juniper asked after cleaning the dishes and sat on the sofa. He was still wearing a layer of makeup that Wyn was certain he just came back from a photoshoot.

Wyn nodded and stringed his guitar to let Juniper hear the song. "Do you think it's good?"

He wondered why this person still had the energy to talk with him.

"Yours is always good." Juniper never lied. When he pressured, he just dodged the question or sat in silence.

And at that time, Wyn couldn't not ask something that had been running on his head. Though he could get a glimpse of why Juniper said that. He just wanted the answer from Juniper himself.

"But why did you say I need to go back to my dad's business?"

Juniper seemed to finally look at the hurt in Wyn's face but he still said, "It was easy money rather than making music. At least for you now."

"Would you prefer to take my business if you were me, then?"

"Yes, I would," Juniper answered without a second thought. "As I said, it's easy money and if I were you, there's nothing I should do but continue the path that my father has been through. It was a safe choice."

"Then, why are you switching to modelling when you were studying psychology and even got a scholarship on top of that?" asked Wyn. He is never quite sure of why Juniper ditch his study for modelling.

Though he was never sure what Juniper liked. He seemed just like everything the same. It was different when Wyn was talking about music or Serkan talking about business. Even Rayinu sometimes questions his choice on law. But with Juniper, he never complained nor he ever confessed that he liked something either psychology or model.

Juniper smiled a little at that question. He revealed, "It was part of gambling too. But I chose the better one for me. You know? Being a model was easy money too. We are still in our third year when I make a lot of money while I never knew if continuing to study would be able to make me live or not. And studying took a long time for me to succeed unlike being a model. In this field, I've made my name and I am putting this as my choice because it's a gamble where I most likely win."

Then, Juniper smirked and tapped his cheek twice, "Face card."

With Juniper, it led to money, Wyn realised. But he didn't mention that.

"But do you find your happiness there? " Wyn asked.

"Nothing is ever my happiness. I only need to survive this long life," explained Juniper.

"But I found music is my happiness though," Wyn said.

Juniper shook his head, "I don't force you to choose your father, Wyn. It's just merely my opinion. If you are happy and ready to go through hard times, I'll put my coin for you to be successful one day."

Then he smiled, not the cold-like style of Juniper. But the one that he only showed to us, "I really like your songs and would be happy if I can keep listening to many songs ahead. I hope the right person will be able to pick your songs, Wyn."

Juniper meant no harm when he said about yesterday. He only wanted Wyn to be in peace, to not ever jump into poverty like him. He really liked Wyn's songs but if it brought misery to one of his cherished people, he didn't mind never listening to it at all.

Wyn could feel his sincerity in that voice. The soft voice of Juniper and his strange, awkward yet sleepy smile. "Thank you, Juniper."
