The arena fell silent as Junichi Sakamoto-Rodríguez launched himself at Benito Garcia with a speed that seemed almost too fast to follow. The Ghost Katana glinted ominously in the dim light as Junichi's blade cut through the air, aiming straight for Benito. But Benito stood completely still, his expression calm and unperturbed. Junichi's blade sliced through what seemed to be an empty space, and with a sudden realization, he backed away, his eyes widening.
Announcer 1: "Whoa! Junichi's strike was swift and precise, but Benito didn't even flinch! What's going on here?"
Announcer 2: "It appears Benito Garcia is using his ability to manipulate distances. Junichi may have just missed his mark—literally."
Junichi stared at Benito, who remained unmoved. The tension in the air was palpable as Benito broke the silence. "Check your blade, Junichi."
Junichi looked down at his katana, expecting to see traces of blood, but there was none. The realization hit him like a cold wave. Benito had altered the distance between himself and the blade at the last second, rendering the attack ineffective.
Announcer 1: "Incredible! Benito's power allows him to manipulate the distance between objects. Junichi's attack missed completely!"
Junichi's face hardened with determination. He swung the Ghost Katana again, this time with even more precision and force. But once more, Benito's nonchalant stance remained unbroken. The blade passed through the air where Benito had been standing, achieving nothing but slicing through empty space.
Benito's smirk grew. "You see, Junichi, you cannot strike what you cannot reach. I can control the very proximity between us, and as such, I can evade any direct attack."
Junichi's eyes narrowed, his resolve unshaken. He took a deep breath, refocusing his efforts. He began to move in a complex pattern, trying to catch Benito off guard. Each strike and maneuver was carefully calculated, yet Benito remained a step ahead, his position continually shifting just out of reach.
Announcer 2: "Junichi's adaptability is impressive, but Benito's control over distance makes him an incredibly elusive target. Junichi will need more than just speed to land a hit."
As Junichi prepared for another attack, Benito took a step forward, and with it, everything in the immediate vicinity seemed to float in mid-air. The gravity around them shifted, creating a surreal, almost weightless environment.
Announcer 1: "What's happening? The entire area around Benito is defying gravity!"
Announcer 2: "Benito's ability to manipulate distances extends beyond simple evasion. He's altering the very fabric of the battlefield."
Junichi paused, his gaze fixed on the floating objects and the altered landscape. The scene was chaotic yet strangely serene, a surreal dance of floating debris and shifting perspectives. Benito's presence amidst the weightlessness only amplified his aura of control and power.
Announcer 1: "This is unbelievable! Benito Garcia is using his power to turn the entire battlefield into his advantage!"
Announcer 2: "Junichi will have to adapt to this new reality if he hopes to overcome Benito's formidable abilities."
The stage was set for a battle unlike any other, where conventional tactics were rendered useless, and the fight would be determined by adaptability and cunning.
As the chapter closed, Junichi's focused gaze was fixed on Benito, the weight of the challenge pressing heavily upon him.
