G. would go into a mini panic attack, the sudden appearance of Damon Albarn himself near her?? And he spoke to her too?? Although she registered what he said she couldn't care less, she was so over the moon to the point she was literally just stuck in her thoughts and staring daggers into Damon.
D - "Uh..- Hello-?"
He didn't have a clue who G was by her appearance, she just seemed like a random person had gotten into the event, although he himself had not dressed in a suit or anything too fancy to be fully honest, just something comfortable that looked a bit like a statement piece, that was all he needed.
G. soon managed to snap back, stuttering a bit as she tried to make herself talk through the surprise and joy.
G - "Oh! I can move! No problem at all!"
She'd place her iPad to the side, revealing the screen and throw her bag over her shoulder.
This small action had given Damon a glance at what she was working on.
D - "Wait.. are you G.D.? The writer of the comic 'Rat King: Omed the Ruler of Rats'?"
He'd suddenly seem a bit intrigued.
G. would get embarrassed and her cheeks would go red, her favourite celebrity and man in the whole wide world recognised her for her comic, she could have sworn she was just dreaming.
Damon would quite quickly manage to snatch the iPad from the ground and inspect the art.
D - "Is this going to be a new character in the series..? A humanoid rat..?"
G. couldn't tell if he was interested or judging her but she loved it all the more either way, the fact that Damon was speaking to her, a man so out of her league was like a blessing from the heavens!
She'd manage to make out some words even through her flustered state.
G - "Yeah, sure is.. his name is Ollie! He's going to be a new subordinate to Omed."
She was so happy that he seemed interested in her work, at this rate, she had no clue if it could get any better.
G - "he'll be added in the next book.. I plan to get it out by next month, but I'm sure I could give you a copy ahead of time.."
She'd nibble the tip of her pointer finger to prevent herself from squeaking from joy.
Damon would return G.'s iPad to her and seem to have a bit of a grin on his face.
D - "Are you kidding? That would be amazing!!"
Damon would quickly get his phone and give her his email, just for the early access to the book. I seemed with a win win suitation for both of them right now, getting to talk with Damon, the love of her life for G. and getting to meet his idol and gaining early access to the next comic book getting released for Damon.
G. wondered how this day could get any any better.
