My alarm was ringing at 6:00 pm today was the day in which we would get to know who would have an arranged marriage. My grandparents told us to get ready even though it was something that we hadn't decided and we were against

"Girls you have 20 minutes left!" My grandma warned us, and Hayden told us to get there at

8:30 pm not later than that or it would be the end for my grandparents. I was putting on my shoes and lastly my lipstick. "ROSE! How do I look?!" Soomin entered my room swinging my door with all her might making me smear my lipstick on my right cheek. "Adi I told you to knock before you enter my room! You scared me!" I exclaimed I turned around to check her outfit.

Wow, Adi looked like an angel, her outfit hugged her body in every good way, she didn't have hideous scars on her legs neither on her arms, she was perfect. Soomin had embraced the Korean tradition.

She enjoyed eating, having the same traditions as them, and even dressed like them. Adi had taken after Choi Eunji my mother, and I took after Hayden my father the only things that we had in common were our noses and our hair.

Everything was different she was a lot more whiter than me and she was much more skinnier than me. "Well, what do you think?" Adi twirled and stared at me as she questioned me. "You look beautiful Adi!" I stated the obvious she smiled at me and left giggling, I hope it isn't you Adi I want to protect you I want you to live happily.

Even though Adi was the oldest I sometimes took the decisions she should be making I didn't mind but at a certain point I wish I could have fun and enjoy life. "GIRLS! You have 3 minutes Hurry!" My Grandma exclaimed, I rushed out of my room and went downstairs. I bowed and greeted them.

We arrived at a fancy restaurant all you could see were fancy sports cars as soon as we arrived a chauffeur greeted us and parked our car which we were confused about. We didn't live that poorly Thank God we always had what we needed, but we weren't that wealthy, why do I complicate things much better we are just a middle-class family. No wonder I don't have friends my thoughts were cut as we got to the front desk. "How may we help you?" A young lady questioned us as she kept a delicate smile on her face.

"We come here for a reservation made under the name De Luca" My grandpa answered, the young lady stood still "O...Okay...umm please w...wait for a second" She stuttered just mentioning the reservation name was as if lightning struck her. She made me nervous. Who was I going to meet? Am I going to meet the devil face to face?

The young lady guided us to our table it was excluded from all the tables it was placed in a private room. The young lady just looked at us as if warning us to run, my palms started to sweat intensely, and without notice, I started to bite my lip. "Stop it Soojin" My grandma suggested we took a seat and waited patiently, we got there about 15 minutes early they brought us water and served us in fancy glass cups.

The door for the room opened Hayden and Choi Eunji entered Choi Eunji had from head to toe designer clothing and jewelry. Hayden had a white suit with a Rolex watch and some Armani shoes, and how do I know about this well remember I have a sister who makes content and enjoys shopping. "Wow my beautiful daughters" Hayden commented as he sat down "These same daughters will bring us some fortune" Choi Eunji giggled as she took her seat next to Hayden.

How dare they, first Hayden acts like he has been in our lives as he should have and Choi Eunji just makes us feel as if we have no value. "Don't even speak! They have a value and a worth, and you are just a piece of trash!" My grandpa exclaimed we all sat there in silence I was uncomfortable, I glanced at Adi she was drinking lots of water she must be nervous as well she stared at me and nodded her head letting me know she was okay.

The door opens, letting us meet the devil face to face.
