Chapter 5: A test of trust and connection..?

Why did I offer that- why would I be so stupid. I pray this doesn't backfire....

"I'd love to, when were you thinking?" Wow.. I kinda hoped she'd say no. Oh well. "How about late tonight, you know that one water park open until 2am?" "Yeah? That's really expensive. How am I supposed to afford that? Plus I have plans with a friend tonight" "have your friend bring you, I'll have it payed for. My treat." "Oh. Wow. Okay, what time?" "8 okay with you?" "8 works." Shit. I'm the one who has to bring her. Wait. This works perfectly. I can just pay for her at the gate.

Schools over so I ran home really quick to change and meet up with Savannah but when I got to my room there was a note on my bed. "Hey... Look. I'm going home. I love you. But also. My jealousy is going to destroy this. So I think it's best for us both if I remove myself. You deserve to be happy and I'm just going to hold you back. I truly do love you. I hope you find someone who makes you happier than I used to.  ~Love Always Nevaeh." She really broke up with me over a note. That's low. Maybe I should stay home... "Hey Sav?" "Hey Kye! What's up?" "I don't know if I should go out tonight.." "What happened? Do you want me to come over instead?" "I got home to change to find a note on my bed. Neveah left. Broke up with me and flew back to her hometown" "Oh shit Kye... You definitely shouldn't be alone. Tell you what. Come over. I'll make you something to eat. And we can talk, okay?" "Okay.."

I arrived at Savannah's house, she's waiting outside to greet me "HOLY SHIT KYE!" I jumped a little "What?" "HOW DO YOU AFFORD THAT CAR?!" "Oh this? Shes paid off." I shrugged "Wtf dude. You're fuckin loaded." "Not really? I work for my money" "it's paying off. Come on inside, foods almost ready. Oh yeah. How do you like your steak?" "Rare. Thanks for this Sav I appreciate it" I walked in and sat on her couch her house is really nice, it's spacious but it doesn't feel empty. "Here we are." She brought two plates over, it looks so good. Steak, roasted potatoes, some green beans. Damn. She knows how to throw a meal together. I took a bite of steak, "Holy shit Sav, this is the best steak I've ever fuckin had" "Oh- thanks Kye, nobody's ever said that before." We spent the next few hours talking about life and the more we talked the more I liked her honestly. Me and Nev have been more like friends for a while so I guess this doesn't hurt that much. But I feel so drawn to this girl. She's obviously drawn to me given she asked mr.matchmaker to help her out. Oh shit. Speaking of that. "Hey I gotta use the bathroom real quick" "okay!" I took this chance to pull out my phone and message her from that account "Are we still on for tonight?" "Absolutely! I'm about to be on my way here soon" "Got it. Just making sure." I came out of the bathroom and she stood up, "Hey do you mind giving me a ride somewhere?" "Not at all, where you gotta go?" "The waterpark?" "The late night one?" "Yeah." "Alright. Let's go." "Uhh. Can I drive?" "Sure. Why not." I handed her my keys and off we went

We got to the waterpark about 7:50 so we're 10 minutes early. "Hey I know the guard I'm gonna run up and say hi really quick" "okay Kye I'm gonna text the person I'm meeting" I gotta get this over with I don't like having to cover for running off, and on cue my phone goes off "hey. I'm here. You here yet?" "I am. Let me come get you, what car are you in?" "A Lambo, the only one in the lot. It's my friends" "Alright. I'm on my way" As I start walking back to the car I go over to Savannahs side and open her door "What are you doing Kye?" "Allow me to introduce myself. Hi, I'm KC. Also known as Cupid." Her jaw just dropped and her eyes went wide. "Shall we go inside Savannah?" I reached my hand out to her and she took it, her face slightly red from what I think is embarrassment, "Two Travis and here. Get a gift for the misses" I handed him a stack of bills and we went inside "do you have a swimsuit?" "Shit I forgot mine I'm sorry." "It's okay. Let's go buy you one" I bought her a really cute two piece that hugs her body perfectly and I got myself a pair of trunks and a top cause I'm insecure. We spent the next few hours bonding and hanging out in the lazy river. Damn I think this girls got me falling for her. She's just staring at me with these stars in her eyes "Hey Sav, you okay?" she jumped like she was lost in thought "Yeah- I'm fine" her face started to turn red "you ready to go? It's almost closing time" "shit already? I don't want tonight to end." "We can go back to my place? My mom doesn't mind me having friends overnight" I offered cause I would like my mom's opinion "yeah! Maybe watch a movie?" "Sure we can watch a movie."

We headed back to my place and I brought her up to my room while I went down and make popcorn and got some snacks as well as some dark chocolate and went back up stairs. "Hey I got snacks, did you pick a movie?" "Yeah we're gonna watch Divergent" "That's cool with me" I laid down in my bed and she just curled right up on me as the movie started. We got about half way before she turned and looked at me "Yes Sav?" "Are you sure me laying on you is okay?" "I'm sure" she pressed her forehead against mine and closed her eyes as if she felt safe or content I took this as an opportunity to move closer with my lips, she started doing the same so I took it as it was okay and closed the distance kissing her gently, she kissed back with a little more passion, next thing I know she's straddling my lap and we're making out. Not how I expected this night to end. But I'm not complaining.
