Dead Air.

Natalie's voice wouldn't work after what she found.

Apparently someone had attacked Ella while she was at home and had taken her family hostage. Which explained her weird behavior as she was lost. Bakugo held back his rage as they tracked down the attackers. And it held no surprises.

"The League of Villains..."

Bakugo made the order since Ella wasn't mentally there. Devin, Luca, Natalie, and Mlm joined the 1A group that was doing the rescue mission. Deku blinked at the sight of Haltthrone.

"Haltthrone? What are you doing here?" Her eyes glowed as she mentally connected with the groups.

"These guys hit the boss. Gotta do some damage while she's resting." Nice one. Bakugo hid the smile as Iida scanned the others before turning to Present Mic.

"We're not really working with these guys, are we?" The Pro Hero smiled as BMD yawned.

"Unless you have a better plan. These guys asked to be here." Haltthrone shocked the small wolf boy, getting a mixed sound from him as he muffled it.

"When are we heading in?"

With how quiet he was, Mlm found the family and got them out without getting involved in the fight. The good news for the fight was that All for One wasn't there. Bad news: Dabi was. Flames roared as the others dodged. Bakugo called out to the manipulator, who had frozen the rest of the league.

"Haltthrone!" She turned a little, but it was Luca, aka Spiritweaver, that got past the flames. He sent a spirit that Bakugo didn't recognize and it was untouchable before slamming the villain into the ground. Of course, he dropped afterwards. Deku caught him before Mlm sent word that the mission was cleared and they could go.

While Luca was getting scolded by Natalie, the others checked the family before sending them home. They then turned to the duo as Luca mumbled a faint complaint, hoping to wave the manipulator out of his face. But in accordance to Natalie, she wasn't one to be waved off. Devin and Mlm went over to them as Luca faded out again. Deku hummed.

"Something about that last spirit did something to him..." Bakugo paused. Hopefully that wasn't his actual lifeforce. He knew Natalie could manipulate her lifeforce and that freaked him out. He gulped before he hummed.

"Let's go." Mlm caught his eye and hummed back before giving the others the sign. The two groups split up after that.

Ella sorta returned, but Mlm sent word of Natalie's talk. Apparently there was a quirk in Ella, but it's taking its time to manifest. Bakugo hummed at the call.

"Does she know what kind?"

"No. But she knows it's finally showing itself. I'll keep you updated."

"Got it."
