A Lone Soul

Fading.

Katsuki was frozen by the news. The others were attacked.

Of course Natalie and Mlm were ok. The duo looked unfazed as they waited. Bakugo, with Deku and Todoroki, went over to them.

"Haltthorne? Mlm?" Natalie looked up first as Mlm stayed fixated on something.

"'Ello!" Mlm finally turned to them as she continued. "Whatcha doing here?" Bakugo groaned.

"She sounds high. Do we have to?"

"Ka-chan, leave it." Mlm started chuckling at the nickname. Natalie stood up and smiled.

"Whatcha doing here?" Deku paused.

"Checking the squad. Are you ok?" Mlm's laughter doubled as he collapsed to the ground. Natalie merely continued the conversation.

"Oh please. It was a small attack." Mlm shot behind the group with this look like she had killed someone. No laughing, just fear. Natalie paused. "It was a little attack-" Mlm shook his head before whispering to Bakugo.

"She murdered the attackers." Bakugo went pale upon his words.

"Are you sure? Did you-" Natalie giggled at Deku's concern.

"I'm the least you should be concerned about. I can take care of a battle. They couldn't do a thing to me. Not without being put in body bags." Mlm's words were true. Todoroki finally spoke.

"Wait... are you saying you killed them?" She hummed.

"Not exactly. I may have just done a little curse-" Bakugo couldn't handle it. He knew that 90% of Natalie's spells were violent. A curse meant there was no crime scene either.

"No, you murdered them." She giggled as Mlm slipped around them and pushed her to her seat. He then went over to the doctor, who was waiting patiently.

Most of the crew was ok, but Ella and Luca were in comas. The others were told to take it easy, but Natalie and Mlm merely giggled when told to relax.

"Relax?" The fear on Bakugo's face said it all as he stared at the manipulator. She had several wisps of magic helping the others while getting them home. "I would never imagine doing that." Mlm shook his head as she paused. "We should go blow up their base. Let 'em feel the pain." Bakugo gulped before mumbling.

"I'm getting better friends." Mlm snickered lightly. It got caught by the others before Natalie scanned their minds. Then she shocked the back of the explosive male's neck.

"Jeez... getting targeted from the inside." Deku paused as he scanned the group. Todoroki then spoke.

"Is that a problem, Haltthrone?"

"Not to me." Bakugo and Mlm stopped walking to gain some distance from the mage.

"One day said it all."

"I didn't do that much damage, you oversized pomeranian!" Bakugo flinched.

"I'm not a pomeranian!"

"Yeah, and I'm a psycho. You notice how different we are. In which, you're noisy." Mlm had to pull Bakugo's legs from under him so that he didn't launch into danger.

"I am not!"

"Are too."

"Am not!"

They locked eyes before Halno spoke from the side.

"I'm glad I know people's parents better than my own grade. Cause I'm gonna start calling." Natalie almost didn't catch her threat until Bakugo reacted.

"You don't know my parents!" Halno, without even a pause, was scrolling through her phone before calling out Mitsuki's number. She then said another number that got Natalie's attention. Both sides of the argument stared at her as she paused.

"I have more parents in my phone than I have anyone else's. Which... I think I have my... yep. There's my coach's number-" Bakugo couldn't argue. She was right. He knew that she got to know the parents of all her friends and acquaintances just to have that. Natalie finally started moving, her magic pushing the group home.

"Not dealing with smart alecs-" Bakugo stayed quiet at that.

"Do you know them?"

"Friends from the park. But I know the one through our families." Deku paused as they entered the dorms.

"Which one?"

"The one that threatened to call my mom." He sighed. "I'm outta here. Night." The other two were quiet at that.
