Salvage Crusades
The Aegypius Sentinels are no strangers to venturing into the unknown, and their Salvage Crusades exemplify this enigmatic chapter's dedication to unearthing the forgotten relics of the past. Unlike many other chapters, the Aegypius Sentinels possess a larger number of Space Marines than the standard Codex-compliant chapters, their true strength concealed behind a veil of secrecy. A Salvage Crusade is a monumental effort that comprises a fraction of their formidable power. It involves three companies of Aegypius Sentinels, one company of Foreman Fathers, one company of Shadow Brothers, two companies of Tomb Wardens, and an impressive ten companies of Gypian Silver Guard. This formidable assembly sets forth on a quest to retrieve long-lost technology, whether it be Dark Age of Technology remnants, xenos artifacts, or other enigmatic devices. The sheer scale of a Salvage Crusade often leads to misconceptions within the wider Imperium. Many believe that these formidable forces represent the entirety of the Aegypius Sentinels, further adding to the aura of mystique surrounding this chapter. The Salvage Crusades strengthen the Aegypius Sentinels' unorthodox reputation while allowing them to continue their mission of resourcefulness and adaptability. As these formidable fleets set forth into the unknown, the Aegypius Sentinels remain committed to their core principle: "We Waste Not." Each endeavor is a testament to their dedication to preserving ancient knowledge, harnessing lost technologies, and defending the Imperium, making them a unique and invaluable asset to the greater cause of humanity

Undying Hunt:
The Undying Hunt is a revered and relentless endeavor undertaken by the Tomb Wardens, an esteemed brotherhood within the Aegypius Sentinels. Comprising a select number of Tomb Wardens, this crusade-like campaign aims to capture and salvage advanced Necron technology from the ancient and enigmatic tomb worlds that lurk in the depths of the galaxy. The primary goal of the Undying Hunt is to infiltrate and secure advanced Necron technology for the Imperium. Tomb Wardens, armed with their unorthodox weaponry, venture into the heart of perilous tomb worlds, battling ancient defenses and hostile Necron forces. This relentless pursuit of treasures hidden within Necron tombs further cements the Aegypius Sentinels' reputation as unorthodox but effective defenders of humanity. Every Tomb Wardens company is accompanied by 2 to 3 detachments of the skilled Gypian Silver Guard, ensuring that the campaign proceeds with disciplined unity. Additionally, a minimum of two Forgesmelter Tanks is deployed to ensure the safe transport and processing of acquired technology, emphasizing the chapter's creed of "We Waste Not."  The relics and technologies reclaimed during an Undying Hunt bolster the chapter's arsenal, enhancing its capabilities for the defense of the Imperium. This relentless pursuit of treasures hidden within Necron tombs further cements the Aegypius Sentinels' reputation as unorthodox but effective defenders of humanity. While their methods may be seen as unorthodox, their value to the Imperium is undeniable. Therefore, other factions within the Imperium are advised to approach the Tomb Wardens with respect and caution, for they walk a perilous path, balancing the pursuit of advanced technology with their duty to the Emperor. Every relic, every piece of technology, every life is cherished and utilized to its fullest potential, as reflected in the chapter's maxim.

The Aegypius Sentinels' history is one of resilience, innovation, and steadfast service to the Imperium. Founded during the 4th Founding, this chapter emerged from the unique blending of gene-seeds from the Iron Warriors and the Raven Guard. Originally dispatched to control the Veridian Expanse, the Aegypius Sentinels' early years were marked by isolation and relentless conflict. Over time, their gene-seeds intermingled, shaping their character and destiny.Embracing the values of their Raven Guard lineage, the Aegypius Sentinels honed their skills in stealth, precision, and unconventional warfare. Yet, the indomitable spirit of the Iron Warriors also flowed through their veins, granting them a mastery of technology and a resilience that set them apart. This duality defined their identity, earning them a reputation as tech-heretics within certain sectors of the Imperium.Accusations of heresy were not uncommon, but the Inquisition recognized the chapter's unique value. Their mastery of technology, both human and xenos, made them invaluable in safeguarding ancient relics and combating threats. Thus, they were granted protection to continue their work.Within the chapter, distinct brotherhoods emerged. The Shadow Brothers, gifted with psychic potential, wielded powers that transcended reality. The Forman Fathers assumed leadership, passing on knowledge and traditions. These brotherhoods, along with the chapter's unorthodox weaponry and tactics, made them a force to be reckoned with. The Aegypius Sentinels are renowned for their "Undying Hunts" led by the Tomb Wardens, 15 Dreadnoughts tasked with capturing and smelting down Necron tomb worlds. Their dedication to this mission, along with their motto "We Waste Not," reflects their resourcefulness and adaptability.Today, the Aegypius Sentinels stand as stalwart defenders of the Imperium, their legacy one of defiance, innovation, and unyielding commitment to humanity's survival.
