"That was really good! You just need to be less tense when playing." Bonnie praised.

Monty groaned. "I thought I had it, though! Ain't that all that matters??"

The bunny chuckled. "It doesn't matter if you know how to play it well. If you're not confident, you're going to mess it up."

They were currently practicing the bass in Bonnie and Freddy's garage. Monty came over every week for bass lessons, and Bonnie was happy to teach them while Freddy watched the kids.

Bonnie was always the baby sibling, but he wished he had a younger sibling to care for. He was starting to see Monty that way. The gator was like a little sibling to him.

Monty was dressed in their typical going out outfit. He had a deep purple sleeveless band crop top and torn black jeans on. Bonnie was dressed in comfortable black sweatpants and a long sleved white shirt with red stripes.

Bonnie rolled up his sleeves to assist Monty if needed.

Monty sighed in annoyance but tried again, doing his best to relax his muscles. Bonnie watched them as they played the section of music. When they were finished, they turned to the bunny expectantly.

Bonnie nodded. "It looks and sounds a lot better when you're not thinking too hard about it. I want you to keep practicing that peice until you can do it with your eyes closed. Then see how much better it sounds."

Monty furrowed his brows in confusion. "I still don't get it..."

Bonnie sighed and stood up with him, placing a patient paw on his back. He noted their height different and hummed in disappointment.

"Lean down." He ordered.

Monty knew what he meant and sighed. "Really, dude??"

"I won't repeat myself." He smiled smugly.

Monty sighed and craned their neck over so Bonnie looked slightly taller. Bonnie used that leverage to throw his arm around Monty's shoulder.

"When you're comfortable with what you're playing, and you love what you're playing, then you'll stop making those little mistakes. You'll be consistent. That's what's most important when playing a song, it's consistency." Bonnie repeated.

"You need to sound and look the same consistently throughout the entire performance." He added.

Monty thought for a moment before nodding slowly. That explanation did make a little more sense.

"I guess..." They stated.

Bonnie ruffled his bangs playfully before letting them go.

"Now, I have to end this session early. I gotta' go cook dinner." He stated, taking his bass back and unplugging it to put it back in it's case.

Monty groaned in disappointment. "Can't Freddy just do it??"

Bonnie shook his head. "He needs to put Daisy to sleep and tutor Gregory."

Monty rolled their eyes, making Bonnie chuckle.

"That's what parenthood is, Monty! Your kids always come first."

Monty stuck his tounge out in disgust. "Don't need to tell me. I ain't ever havin' kids. I don't got time for all that."

Bonnie snickered and shrugged as he walked Monty back to his car. "It's not for everyone... I never thought I would have kids, either."
