"For the last time Klaus, no one wants to watch a freaking Barbie movie," Diego growled, shooting daggers at his brother.
"I'm not opposed to the idea," Sloane offered up from the couch. "I love Barbie movies."
"Of course you do," Diego retorted. "You're like a walking Disney princess."
"Aww, thank you!" Sloane smiled, before humming along to At Last I See The Light from Tangled.
"Well, I think we should watch a slasher film," Lila piped up. "The gorier, the better."
Five nodded from where he was sitting on the floor, practically swallowed whole by one of Luther's hoodies.
He looked older now then Diego had ever known him previously; now a gangly teen where he had always been a baby-faced child.
Even still, where Luther was big and bulky, Five was short and lanky, and the sweatshirt was like a tent on his small frame.
If Diego didn't know what a prick he was, he'd say he looked almost adorable in it.
Klaus pouted from where he was flung on the sofa, his feet in Sloane's lap and his arm dangling off the side. "I don't wanna watch a slasher film," he whined. "We get enough murder and mayhem in our normal lives mis hermanos."
"But this is make believe murder and mayhem," Lila insisted.
"Unless it's based on a true story," Five quipped.
Lila smacked him across the arm, and he flipped her the bird in return.
Diego rolled his eyes. Trying to reason with Five and Lila as pointless as trying to teach cats to read Russian.
Luther raised his hand from where he was currently arranging pillows carefully in a fort like structure. "I have an idea."
"If you say Footloose I swear to god–"
Diego was interrupted as Allison and Viktor walked in, their arms full of snacks.
Luther quietly went back to building his fort, lips sealed tight.
"Allison almost burnt the kitchen down," Viktor said promptly as he set down three bowls of popcorn on the coffee table.
Lila and Klaus both immediately dived in like the little chaos gremlins they were, and Sloane raised her eyebrows in alarm.
"I did not!" Allison defended herself.
"You did."
"No, I didn't!"
"The popcorn was on fire, Ally!"
"But then I put the fire out!"
"Can we reconsider watching a Barbie movie?" Klaus asked, spraying popcorn kernels out of his mouth.
Five wrinkled his noise in disgust while Lila nodded along enthusiastically.
"We should," she declared, snatching a pillow from Luther and smacking Five in the face with it.
Diego raised an eyebrow. "I thought you hated Barbie movies."
"Why would I hate Barbie movies?" Lila asked like he was stupid. "Barbie is a badass."
"How is Barbie a badass?"
"Well," Lila said, just as Five grabbed another pillow and the two began a full fledged pillow fight. "She's only had every job ever."
"How does being a pilot and a pastry chef make you a badass?"
"She was also a spy," Allison piped up.
