Standing on a rock, victim to the crashing of the water, Venti found himself gazing out at the vast expanse of water, a sight he had longed to escape.
His body ached from prolonged exposure to the air, and his skin cracked and parched from the relentless sun, resulting in scorching scales growing onto his skin.
Despite his desperate thirst, he knew that plunging into the water would bring a searing pain as his dehydrated body absorbed the salty fluid.
Not to mention the bone-breaking and flesh-stretching process, gruesome indeed, but I'll be forgiving enough to spare the heart-wrenching details.
Then, with a shakey breath, venti jumped and plunged into the salty sea, luckily for any bystanders nearby, the crashing sea silenced his screams, leaving him tortured beneath the harsh early morning waves.

Y/N gasped, being abruptly woken from her sleep, griping onto her bedsheet, panting heavily, looking around her room, heavily disoriented and groggy.
An intense sense of confusion washed over her and perhaps even a feeling of irritation created an irk on her forehead, quickly sitting, attempting to catch her breath which ran from her.
Y/N felt her stomach churn as she woke up from the nightmare, the lingering fear causing her to feel sick with unease.
The loud crashing sound only added to her disorientation, intensifying the queasiness in her stomach.
She tried to steady her breathing and calm her racing heartbeat, but the feeling of nausea persisted, making it hard for her to fully regain her composure.
Y/N reached over to her nightstand and picked up her phone, squinting to read the time in the dimly lit room. 6:01 am.
Groggily rubbing her eyes, she wondered where Venti would be at this time.
However, a wave of uneasiness washed over her as she thought about him, and she couldn't pinpoint why.
It was an odd feeling that lingered in the back of her mind, leaving her perplexed and unsettled.
Y/N dragged herself out of bed and staggered to the window, the early morning light filtering in through the sheer curtains.
As she peered out, she could see the sun casting a warm golden glow over the tranquil sea. The gentle waves lapped against the shore, and the sight was so serene that it felt almost surreal.
Despite the cliché nature of the thought, Y/N felt an inexplicable pull to go to the sea.
The idea of being near the water seemed to offer a strange sense of calm amidst the chaos of her thoughts. It was as if the sea held some kind of answer or comfort that she desperately needed.
Strangely, Y/n noticed, that she had never preferred the thought of the sandy beach and large rocks, scattered across the sea bed and land, that is, before meeting Venti.
