"I love you" the words just seemed to slip out of my mouth. I closed my eyes, smiling. Waiting. Just waiting for the words to come out of his mouth.
Harry's POV
"I love you" she said with a smile on her face, resting her head on my chest. I opened my mouth to speak.
Say it Harry
"I..."
Three words
"..I ... I"
Three easy words Harry!!!! Say it!!!
"I..."
She looked up at me, pain struck across her face. She was waiting for the answer that never came out of my mouth. I wanted it to... my tongue betrayed me.
"I... I'm sorry harry... I just thought..." she had her mouth open, tears escaping her eyes. I tried to wipe them away, but she just backed up, turned around, and walked out the door. I tried chasing after her, but by then, she was out of the flat, going God knows where.
I wanted to follow her. Hug her. Tell her I loved her. But for some reason I couldn't do it. For some reason, I felt like I needed some of my own comforting.
