DATE: FRIDAY, JULY 19TH
TIME: TBA𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐒 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐃. Fourteen days since Marion got shot — which also was the same day Jayden ran into Zay'vion, and that being the same day Marion basically called it quits on his and Kimora's entire friendship.
When Kimora confirmed for herself that she didn't want whatever they have going on further than what it was; Marion made it clear to his self that he wasn't going to push anything that wasn't real — mainly to protect his sanity.
Don't get him wrong, he knew what he was getting hisself into when this entire thing started, but Marion was excited for a challenge. He knew he was playing a game of tennis whilst dealing with her, but dammit he felt like that was the best game he ever played.
From the day he confronted her about her occupation — both of them getting into a heated argument which resulted in him choking her because she basically wasn't caring about shit he was saying. To which he slightly enjoyed doing, seeing as how she melted into his hand when the grip on her neck tightened.
He felt like a complete fool for even attempting it, but when she showed signs that she wanted something too, it only made him push further.
From the day she cleaned his cuts from the fight and the shooting with Keyontae — to the nights where it was nobody but them awake, sitting on the balcony and talking to each other while they held a certain look in each others eyes.
"I missed this, just us two."
"You do?" Looking at them with a surprised look on their face, trying to fight the smile that was growing. "Why?"
"Because we always had something special Mari."
The moments when she would talk to him and break down, only for him to confront her and talk her through it. It would be times when they were talking and she was on his lap — facing him as she played with his locs, something he found enjoyment in her doing.
She was a broken person who needed someone to fix her, and he knew Jayden wasn't the one who could fulfill her needs — to Marion's knowledge, Jayden wasn't the person you would go to for times like this, but the topics Kimora were talking about were the exact reasons for Jayden to take her seriously.
Marion wanted to help her, be there for her, so he did.
Of course Kimora let him because he was the only one showing her what she needed at the time — so why would she push him away?
