The Grim set off a rather wide range of flames when the souls finally gave up, "Hwaah! We gotta get out of here! Before we disappear for good!" They shouted together before their presence finally left the hallway and they disappeared from view. Odysseus put the Grim down from his hold as it looked around surprised "H-huh? Did we...win?" It asked while panting heavily, clearly tired from the overuse of fire. "For now, yes, but I don't doubt they'll come back sooner or later. But good job for holding out so long" the Greek replied, giving the animal a small pat on the head, similar to how you would pat a dog. It visibly relaxed at that and started saying "Aw, geez, I was scared outta my—" then freezes before jumping away from Odysseus, "I mean, they didn't faze me one bit!" Then continued with a bit of arrogance "Just a walk in the park for a mage of my calibre! Whaddya got to say now, ghosties? That's right!" It chuckled with only Odysseus hearing the sound of the large entrance door opening.

"Good evening. In another gesture of my immense kindness, I have brought you dinner" Crowley practically sang as he entered the building, he came up behind Odysseus only to pause. "Wait. That's the creature we ejected for causing trouble at orientation! What is it doing here?!" Crowley screamed, grabbing the man's shoulder and pushing in front of Odysseus, the animal smiled at this, "Takin' care of yer ghost problem, that's what. You're welcome, by the way!". Crowley, who was now standing between them, slightly turned back to the Greek while still keeping an eye on the Grim "What is the meaning of this, Odysseus?" he questioned. "While I was trying to find cleaning supplies three wandering souls made their appearance, I was horrified. They were about to kill me if it wasn't for the Grim coming just in time to save me. I doubt a magicless mortal like me would have lasted too long! I could only help with some direction." Odysseus greatly played up the events of the night, taking as much blame off of himself as possible during it.

"Really?" Crowley asked in a somewhat sceptical tone, he looked around the hall to see multiple scorch marks, "...Now that I think of it, I do seem to recall that this dorm did have just a small ghost problem.". He thought to himself for a moment before continuing "Ah, yes... That's why it was abandoned, in fact. The ghosts scared away all the students." So Odysseus had been right to be suspicious, the souls being here explained both the abandonment and all the scattered items. "But the both of you joined forces to drive them away?" Crowley questioned them again, it was a rather generous deduction from what Odysseus had actually told him but it was more inline with what did transpire. The Grim quickly answered in a snarky tone " 'Joined forces' ain't exactly how I'd describe it" though given the way it was said and the attitude it had this entire night Odysseus doubted it was anything but hubris from the animal instead of the story he'd told the other man. "More like I drove 'em away, and the human watched. And I only did it 'cause I wanted some tuna" Odysseus also didn't understand what was with this thing and tuna, but that might just be because the greek is frankly rather sick of anything salt water.

Crowley looked between the both of them, "Would you two be so kind as to demonstrate your ghost-eradication methods for me?" That was better than Odysseus was expecting him to say, but that did leave the question on how given that the souls had already left. The Grim was quick to answer before the king could, "One, no, 'cause I already wiped 'em all out. And two, no, 'cause I still ain't got any tuna!". But Crowley had almost completely ignored the answer and explained further "I will play the part of the ghosts" then he turned over to the Grim, showing that he didn't entirely ignore it, "As for the tuna, you'll receive it when you defeat me. Oh, what generosity, Crowley..." the male trailed off. Crowley then pulled out a small glass vial with a shiny silver liquid inside, he popped it open and drank the substance in its entirety, turning into a dark red when it touched his lips. His body then slowly shifted to be translucent, foggy wisps surrounded him, similar to the souls from earlier but much more humanoid and realistic. This caused the Grim to let out an audible sigh "Ah, you gotta be kiddin' me. I gotta work together with the human again?"Odysseus was surprised at how seamless the transformation was, especially considering the only other time he saw it was when Circe had changed his men back into, well, men and that was quite disturbing.

"You might not like it but this will be the only way to get any tuna, besides I doubt a Master Sorcerer like yourself will have any difficulty" the Greek egged the animal on, while the situation wasn't preferable it is always better to follow the person responsible for your housing and food than to piss them off, he learned that the hard way when he first arrived to Troy. "Hrmph" the Grim let out a small, angry noise but still went along with it. This time the animal was standing on its own while Odysseus only directed it, the situation was, thankfully, not life threatening like last. During which Crowley was giving some comments, whether or not they were meant as advice is debatable, with the Grim retorting him when it had the chance while the Greek was busy giving directions to the animal.

(I am saying this now but I don't like the ghost part of the prologue but that might just be because I can't write fight scenes.)
