˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥  Chaos. Everything surrounding the three was utter chaos.

It was hard for Kenma to stay composed, with every passing second it became more difficult for him to hide how visibly upset he was.

He could feel the way his girlfriend clung to his body for support and saw that she was simultaneously shielding the body of her niece who was curled up in his arms. He could feel the trembling of the little girl, which only fueled more of his frustrations. Most importantly, he could feel the way the crowd was closing in on them, leaving very little breathing room and just calling for an accident to happen.

His eyes dart towards empty spaces in the crowd, trying to get a glimpse of any security who can handle the situation. Finding none, he shakes his head in disappointment, trying to push back that feeling of helplessness starting to arise in him.

"Y/N hold on ok? The crowd's not letting up and I don't see security."

When he feels the arms around his waist tighten he starts to push forward through the crowd.

"Everyone step back," he commands, his voice holding an authoritative tone, one that contrasts his usual soft-spoken manner. He didn't wait for anyone to comply; at this point, he didn't care if anyone thought he was rude or entitled. The only thing he could think of was making sure they were all safe.

The buzzing of the crowd was starting to overwhelm him and the flashing of phone cameras was giving him a pounding headache. No matter how popular he's gotten, he never got used to the lack of space and privacy that his life has come accustomed to.

The crowd only started to back away once they were almost out and at this point security had come to handle the situation more efficiently. Now with security involved, the crowd was able to be contained allowing the couple to quickly make it back to the car.

Y/N buckles Ema into her carseat before taking the seat next to the little girl.

"I'm sorry Ema-chan. That must've been scary, huh?"

The little girl nods her head, her eyes still glistening from the earlier experience.

"Auntie and uncle didn't realize people would recognize us here, we'll be more careful next time, ok? Pinky promise?"

Y/N held out her pinky to the child, waiting for Ema to latch her smaller finger onto hers. When her niece wraps their pinkies together, Y/N pats the small child's head and offers her a reassuring smile.

The ride back to Akiko's was quiet, the weight of the day's events heavy on their minds. The couple pondered over the unexpected intensity of attention they received. Though they were not new to attention, what they witnessed today was frankly quite worrying.

When they arrived back at the house the little girl immediately latched onto her mother. Seeking comfort in the older woman's embrace.

"You guys ok? I saw what happened," Akiko questions, her voice laced with concern.

"We're alright," Y/N says with a sigh, "Thankfully no one got injured, but that crowd... I was starting to get worried we wouldn't be able to make it out."

"We'll have to address this," Kenma sighs, "As much as I want to forget about everything at the moment, today was out of control and it's better we set our limits before it gets worse."

"I agree, we need to make our boundaries clear or someone may end up hurt next time"

Kenma waits for more people to join before he decides to speak up on his thoughts. He decided the best way to go about this was to talk about it on stream, knowing someone would likely spread a clip around.

"Guys it's been a while, I'm still on vacation but I just wanted to address something very important really quick."

"Today I was out with Y/N and a crowd formed surrounding us as we were leaving, leaving us trapped with hardly any way out."

"Luckily nobody got hurt, but this behavior is unsafe and uncalled for. It's alright to feel comfortable around your idols, but do remember that we are not friends and just because you are comfortable with me being in your space, that does not mean the reverse is true."

He pulls up a photo of what happened at the park, making sure Ema's face was not visible before showing his stream.

"If something like this happens again, I will not tolerate it. Be more mindful, respect my privacy and respect Y/N's privacy as well."

As soon as the sentence left his mouth he shuts the stream off without any goodbyes. The events of the day left him with a throbbing headache and a sense of deep frustration. In the room across from him was Y/N, who is also addressing what happened to her fans. He moves to the bed and shuts his eyes waiting for Y/N to come back into the room.

He doesn't know how long he was out but when he feels a familiar pair of arms wrap tightly against his chest, he peeks one eye open before pressing a kiss onto his lover's head. He readjusts the two of them, finding a comfier position so they can recuperate their energy in time to celebrate Ema's birthday in the morning.

In the morning the two get up early and dress themselves in all black, not forgetting to wear a cap and tying their hair back. They were tasked in picking up Ema's birthday things, such as her cake and party supplies, while her parents got her ready for her special day.

Luckily their outing had no mishaps this time and they were able to successfully make their way back home, now with the addition of cake and sweets, glitter and confetti, and everything else a four-year-old could want.

When they open the door they are greeted by the sight of the birthday girl. Ema is all dressed up in a multicolor tutu and sporting a birthday cone made of paper atop of her head. She looks much more spunky compared to the previous day, now enamored with the excitement of her special day.

"There's the birthday girl!" Y/N calls out at the sight of her niece.

Ema runs up to give the returning couple a hug, and maybe peek into the bags they had brought as well.

"Auntie, I can help!" Ema exclaims, bouncing at the thought of putting up the streamers or maybe even spreading the confetti. The offer was originally turned down by her mother before the two had arrived, but Ema had succeeded in getting Kenma to carry her as she held the banners in place for her aunt to secure them on the wall.

As soon as the house is decorated a handful of kids start arriving alongside their parents to celebrate the now four-year-old. Ema runs alongside her friends, showing off her handy work with the decorations before bringing them along to the activities her parents had set up.

The contrast of the past two days brought a sense of relief to the couple. The party was small, which was unsurprising (what four-year old has so many friends?), and none of the childrens' parents seemed to rnize them from anywhere for which they were thankful. The quiet of the party allowed them to spend the day to the fullest. Not wanting to waste their last full day on vacation, the couple soaked up whatever time they could with Y/N's family. They made sure Ema was feeling extra special due to the previous day's events and included themselves in whatever activities the kids were up to.

Once all the guests were accounted for the couple brought out the cake and everyone sang the familiar birthday tune as Ema thought deeply about her wishes and blew out her candles. Kenma and Y/N smile fondly at the scene, thankful that their vacation had ended on a good note.
