SERENITY HOSPITAL ( main branch ) – EMERGENCY ROOM – MIDNIGHT
The corridors of Serenity Hospital are a hive of frenetic activity. The overhead lights cast harsh reflections on the polished floors, where doctors and nurses are moving with urgent purpose. An elegant woman in her late 50s or early 60s is wheeled down the hall with hurried precision. On it lies Gayathri Raju. her usually commanding presence now a mere shadow of her former self, her face ashen and her breathing shallow. Her daughter Vasudha is running behind with her face crept with tension.
A small group of visitors in the waiting area watch with growing concern, their hushed conversations punctuated by gasps of alarm.
Visitor 1 ( with shock ) : Did you see who that is ?That's Gayathri Raju. The chairman of AK Group !
( Visitor 1 ( with shock ) : akkada chudu oka sari ! Avida Gayathri garu kadha. AK group chairman avida )
Visitor 2 ( nods in agreement) : I saw. What's she doing here at this hour?
( Visitor 2 ( nods in agreement) : Chusanu ! Avida ki emai untadhi ? )
Visitor 1 : I guess she had a cardiac arrest. They're rushing her to surgery.
( Visitor 1 : Naaku telisi cardiac arrest anukunta. Surgery ki ready chesi tesukeltunnaru chudu )
The atmosphere in the hospital is a sharp contrast to the usual calm. The beeping of monitors and the hurried footsteps of medical staff create a symphony of urgency. DR. VAIDEHI a young cardiac surgeon with an air of quiet determination, strides down the corridor. Her white coat flutters behind her, and her expression is one of intense focus. Despite being the granddaughter of Serenity group of hospitals founder and neice of it's MD. she is more concerned with the immediate crisis.
She reached the emergency room, where she finds a NURSE stationed at the door, looking visibly distressed.
Vaidehi spoke to the nurse. her tone is firm and commanding.
Vaidehi : Where's Mr. Shinde? I need to consult with him about the surgery.
( Vaidehi : Shinde garu ekkada ? Ayana tho matladali surgery gurinchi . )
Nurse checked her phone and her voice is tinged with panic.
Nurse : I've been trying to reach him, but he's not answering. He's not even here right now.
( Nurse : Chala sepati nunchi try chestunna madam. Phone answer cheyatledhu. Shift ayipoganey vellipoyaru )
Vaidehi took a deep breath to control her anger.
Srihan : Vaidhu ! We can handle this. I don't think we have time.
( Srihan : Vaidhu ! Manam handle cheyyochu. Alochinchentha time ledhu ippudu. )
Vaidehi : Alright. We don't have time to wait. Prepare for immediate surgery. I'll handle it.
( Vaidehi : Sare ! Manaki time ledhu. Surgery ki antha siddham cheyyandi . Nenu chuskunta. )
The nurse, though initially surprised by Vaidehi's decision, quickly regains her composure and nods. She turned to mobilize the team. her movements are a blur of efficiency. Vaidehi headed towards the operating room in blue scrubs, where her skilled team of NURSES and INTERNS are already setting up.
Srihan : Dr. Vaidehi is taking over ! We need to get everything ready for surgery immediately.
