The corridors of the hospital buzzed with urgency, fluorescent lights are flickering overhead as Vikramaditya hurriedly led Vaidehi through the maze of sterile white walls. The scent of antiseptic hung heavily in the air, mixing with the palpable tension that coursed through them. Vaidehi's grip tightened around his hand. her knuckles turned pale and her face is contorted with both pain and determination.
( Vaidehi : Manam mundhe hospital ki vasthey baguntadhi ani cheppa kadha ! )
Vaidehi : I told you we should have left earlier !
she exclaimed and her voice echoing sharply against the stark backdrop. Vikramaditya's heart raced with a mix of excitement and anxiety swirling within him. Beside them, his sister Vasudha chuckled by shaking her head as she tried to keep the mood light.
( vasudha : Shaantinchu Vaidehi ! Edho konni kshanaallo baby puttestundhi ani emi kaadhu ga. Next time nuvvu anukunnattey cheyyandi. )
Vasudha : Calm down Vaidehi ! It's not like the baby's going to pop out any second now. You can go according to your plan next time .
she teased by earning a glare from Vikramaditya.
As they approached the labor ward familiar faces emerged from the chaos. Jagadish and Indrani along with her Shalini were already there, their expressions are a mix of anticipation and worry.
Just then, Dr. Mehta, the gynecologist, approached with brisk efficiency, her professional demeanour is a contrast in the chaotic atmosphere.
( Dr.Mehta : Vaidehi , ninnu lopali ki tisukelthunnam. )
Dr.Mehta : Vaidehi, we need to get you settled in.
she said, her voice is steady and reassuring.
( Dr.Mehta : Vikramaditya, tanaki dhairyam cheppadaaniki meeru kuda ravochhu. Kaani shantham ga undaali. )
Dr. Mehta : Vikramaditya, you can come in for support, but let's keep the energy calm.
( Vikramaditya : Nenu kuda tanatho untaanu ! )
Vikramaditya : I'll be right there !
Vikramaditya promised by squeezing Vaidehi's hand before following the doctor into the labor room. As the door swung shut behind him, the sounds of the bustling hospital faded, replaced by the rhythmic beeping of machines and Vaidehi's strained breathing.
Inside, the reality of the moment hit him like a tidal wave. Vaidehi lay on the bed, sweat glistening on her forehead, her eyes wide with a mix of pain and determination. He was made to wear green scrubs , mask and gloves.
( Vikramaditya : Bangaaram ! Naa kallalo ki choodu. Mana prema nee noppi ni maayam chestundhi. )
Vikramaditya : Darling ! Just look into my eyes. Let our love to wash away your pain.
She slapped him hardly across his face.
( Vaidehi : Nuvvu eppudu. ...na..aku....nee... chetha....rom-com...dialo..gues tho chira..ku teppisth..av ! )
Vaidehi : You're always.... anno....ying me with your aah.....hmm..... silly rom-com dialo.....gues !
she shouted and her voice is filled with frustration. Vikramaditya chuckled nervously, trying to ease the tension.
