1 Year After The events
I woke up, sitting up at end of my bed. I sighed running my hand through my hair getting up. It's been a year since Via's death, Im twenty now, I've changed. I've been miserable trying to forget about her and what she said. It feels impossible to move on and almost hurts, like chains holding me down. I walk to the bathroom, sliding on my regular outfit looking into the mirror. "I look more miserable then yesterday.." I mumbled under my breath. I turned around refusing to look into the mirror anymore, quickly tying my hair up then rushing out my small apartment. I made my way to the warehouse.
3 steps, Gravel.
2 steps, stone.
1 step, doors.
I stopped in front of the grey farm doors, towering over me. I inhaled. "Why am I doing this.." I shakily reached for the door handles swinging them open.
Creak..
I stepped inside, getting startled by own footsteps. I grabbed my flashlight turning around. Cobwebs, dust and four stone walls, nothing else just empty. I walked around, carefully examining everything there. I found the spot the night happened it looked the same. Like a moment frozen in time. Memories flooded back, filling my mind with nothing but just that, terrible memories. Via's words echoing, her last words, the sound of the gun clicking, everything. I collapsed to my knees barely being able to handle it, tears streaming down my face as I just stared into the darkness, dropping my flashlight.
I came here to heal... why is it doing the opposite?
