"You're leaving me?"

Jimin asks, fat tears running down his cheeks, causing Jungkook's heart to drop. He never wanted to make his newlywed mate cry on their first day of mating.

"Baby, listen to me."

Jungkook tries to reach for the boy, but Jimin looks away from his husband in anger.

"We just got married, Hyung. How will I survive without my mate? I need you, Alpha."

Jimin argues, and Jungkook pulls his omega in his arms, wiping away his husband's tears.

"I know, baby. As hard is it for you, the same goes for me, but I can't go against my father's order. Beside, as a future king of this empire, I need to support our allies too. My baby, I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Please try to understand me, sweetheart."

Jungkook whispered, his alpha protesting him to stay with their mate, but he knew he can't listen to his wolf. Jimin looks up at his husband’s face, and he can see the pain in his mate's eyes.

"Promise me, you'll come back to me soon."

Jimin said, showing his little finger to his alpha. Jungkook nods, intertwining their fingers before placing a kiss on their fingers.

"I promise you, baby. Come on, let's bathe. I need to tell you something else too."

Jungkook said, and Jimin nodded his head. They both get out of their clothes and get inside the water.

The fresh water feels so right against their skin, as Jungkook taps on the marble under the water, where they can sit. Jimin shyly swims near his husband and sits beside him. The omega internally thanks that; the water is filled with pink flowers, hiding their most private parts, and his long hair is hiding his newly developed t̶i̶ts.

"I'll wash your hair."

Jungkook said, not noticing Jimin's face is blushing brightly. He turned his back towards the alpha, and Jungkook took the long hair in his hold. He started applying the shampoo to his omega's hair, slowly massaging the scalp.

"What did you want to tell me?"

Jimin asks, enjoying his husband's fingers on his head.

"Oh! Yoongi Hyung and the rest of my friends will remain here and they teach you something."

Jungkook said, and Jimin turned his head towards the alpha.

"What is it?"

Jimin asks, looking into the doe's eyes. Jungkook turns his omega's head towards the front, not wanting the boy’s neck muscle to twitch.

"I want you to learn self-defense. Yoongi hyung will teach you how to fight back, use weapons and sword. He'll also teach you archery. Namjoon hyung will give you knowledge about empire political affairs and many other things related to it; even you can ask eomma about it more. From Hoseok hyung, you can learn horse riding, cooking, and many more things. So, my omega, will you do that? Marrying a future king isn't an easy task; enemies can be around us and we wouldn't know it, so I want you to learn things that will help you in  the future."

Jungkook said, thinking about all the possibilities when he wouldn't be here. As Jimin is the future queen of the Silla, his omega needs to learn many things to protect himself.

As for Jimin, he knew his husband is right. Every generation queen has learned those things for their own safety and the well-being of the empire.

"I promise Alpha. I'll learn everything."

Jimin said, and Jungkook smiled before leaning towards his omega's cheek and planting a kiss on his mate's cheek. He knew if Jimin learned to protect himself, then no one could cause harm to his omega.
