The car ride had been filled with Seo’s loud yapping. Neither I nor Bahng complained, we were used to it by now. Surprisingly Seo said nothing to Bahng about what he had assumed in the VIP lounge earlier. Probably scared Bahng would snap at him if it was true. Though Bahng was a calm and sweet person, when you piss him off, it's best you run for the hills.

After Seo was dropped off, a painfully awkward silence rippled through the car. Usually, our silences were comfortable, very comfortable. Maybe it's just me? Bahng seemed comfortable, far more comfortable than me at least.

I was curious, I wanted to know if he really was seeing someone. I had never felt such an urge to know something and it was bothering me. “Bahng,” I say with my eyes still focused on the road. Bahng looks up from his phone slightly. “You know you can tell me anything right?”

I flick my eyes to him for a moment, he smiled at me. “I know.” He says simply. I wasn't happy with that reply but I wasn't the type to push for answers.

When we arrive at my apartment Bahng comes in with me. He practically lives in my apartment. He has his own, a very large one in fact. His parents were anything but poor, in fact, he may be wealthier than me. But he always told me that his apartment was cold, empty, and lifeless and that he preferred to have the warmth of another person in his space. I did try to tell him that I was also cold and lifeless multiple times but Bahng always told me to shut up.

“Wanna watch a movie?” Bahng says with a cute dimpled smile as he flops down onto the couch.

I immediately take a seat next to him. “What are we watching?” I say with a forced smile. I liked watching movies with Bahng, it was just hard to express that to him.

Midway through the movie, boredom hit us. We started to talk, it didn't last long though. A silence stilled awkwardly between us in no time. The TV was muted and we just sat there.

“Han.” Bahng’s voice sliced through the awkwardness. My eyes move back over to his.

“Yeah?” I say, confused by the seriousness in his tone.

He swallows and goes silent for a moment, his eyes anywhere but mine. He seemed nervous. “So I uhm… I think I like someone.” When he finishes his eyes flick back to me, watching for my reaction.

A smile slowly smears over my features, it wasn't forced. Thats new. “Who’s the lucky guy?”

Bahng immediately smiles back at my positive response. He must be really self-conscious about this. “I don't want to tell you yet, just in case. I don't want to get my hopes up or anything.”

I continue to smile at him. Surprisingly it didn't bother me, I was glad he had told me at all. “What’s he like then?”

Bahng sits straight again, facing forward with a large smile on his face. “You would like him, don't worry, I know for a fact that he’s tolerable enough for you.”
