Chapter 9

Next day in uni ...the test day

Jungkook wrote his test answers peacefully, while Jin and Jimin struggled beside him.

"Psst, JK, can we see your notes?" Jin whispered.

"Yeah, we're stuck," Jimin added.

But before Jungkook could respond, their teacher appeared. "What's going on here?"

Jin and Jimin tried to cover, but the teacher wasn't having it. "You two are cheating! And Jungkook, you're involved too!"

The teacher pulled out his phone and dialed the first contact number listed for each of them.

Taehyung answered, "Hello?"

"Hello, is this Taehyung? Jungkook's emergency contact?"

Taehyung's voice turned serious. "Yes, that's me. What's wrong?"

"Jungkook's been caught cheating on a test. I need you to come to the university immediately."

Taehyung arrived at the university, RM and Yoongi in tow. "What's going on?"

The teacher explained the situation, and Taehyung's expression turned angry. "Jungkook knows the answers. He didn't need to cheat."

RM and Yoongi exchanged amused glances. "Someone's in trouble," RM whispered.

Taehyung turned to Jungkook. "We'll talk about this later."

Jungkook looked down, sheepish. "I know, Tae. I'm sorry."

Taehyung stormed into the teacher's office again after every one goes out his eyes blazing. "You're the one who accused Jungkook of cheating"

The teacher trembled. "I-I was just doing my job, Taehyung."

Taehyung's voice dropped to a menacing tone. "You know Jungkook didn't cheat. I taught him myself last night. He knows the answers better than anyone."

The teacher gulped. "I-I didn't know that."

Taehyung's eyes narrowed. "You should have checked your facts before accusing him. Now, I want this incident erased from his record.

The teacher nodded hastily. "Y-yes, of course."

Later, Taehyung took Jungkook to a cozy pizza restaurant. Over slices of pizza, Jungkook told Taehyung about the test and the punishment.

Taehyung's expression turned dark. "I'll take care of it. No one messes with you."

Jungkook smiled, feeling safe with Taehyung.

RM and Yoongi stepped forward, their faces stern. "Alright, Jin and Jimin, you two need to learn a lesson."

Jin and Jimin exchanged nervous glances.

RM cracked his knuckles. "Yoongi, what do you say we give them a special task?"

Yoongi grinned mischievously. "I say we make them clean the entire dormitory. Windows, floors, everything."

Jin and Jimin groaned.

RM added, "And they have to do it while singing 'Boy With Luv' on repeat."

Jin and Jimin looked horrified.

Yoongi snickered. "I have just the thing."

Yoongi pulled out two bright pink jumpsuits with "Cheater" written on the back.

Jin and Jimin looked at each other, then back at their friends. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

RM and Yoongi just laughed.

"Get to work, cheaters!" RM said, handing them mops and buckets.

Jin and Jimin reluctantly put on the jumpsuits and began cleaning, their voices echoing through the dormitory as they sang "Boy With Luv" on repeat.

Taehyung and Jungkook finished their pizza, and Taehyung reached across the table to take Jungkook's hand.

"Hey, I'm sorry about what happened today," Taehyung said, his eyes soft.

Jungkook smiled. "It's not your fault, Tae. I know you have my back."

Taehyung's grip on Jungkook's hand tightened. "Always. I won't let anyone hurt you."

Jungkook's heart fluttered at Taehyung's possessiveness.

Meanwhile, back at the dorm, Jin and Jimin were still recovering from their punishment.

RM walked in, a bag of ice cream in hand. "Hey, cheaters! I brought you some comfort food."

Jin and Jimin perked up, digging into the ice cream.

Yoongi chuckled. "You two look like you've been through a war."

Jimin muttered, "We have. A war of cleaning and 'Boy With Luv'."

Jin added, "We'll never cheat again."

RM and Yoongi laughed, enjoying their friends' misery.

"Alright, we'll let you recover," RM said, standing up. "We'll head back home."

Yoongi nodded. "Yeah, we should be going now"

RM and Yoongi left the dorm, heading back to their own home, leaving Jin and Jimin to their ice cream and recovery.

Taehyung's birthday was approaching, and Jungkook had a surprise plan. Instead of a big party, he wanted to take Taehyung on a romantic getaway to a secluded beach resort.

Jungkook booked a cozy little cottage overlooking the ocean and planned a relaxing itinerary, complete with couples' spa treatments, sunset picnics, and long walks on the beach.

But, just as they were about to leave, RM and Yoongi burst into their villa, holding a large box. "Wait, wait! We can't let you two go without a proper birthday celebration!" RM exclaimed.

Yoongi opened the box, revealing a stunning custom-made birthday cake, adorned with Taehyung's favorite colors and flavors. "We can't let Jungkook steal the show with his romantic getaway," Yoongi teased.

Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise, and Jungkook chuckled. "I guess we have no choice but to compromise. A quick birthday party, and then we're off to our beach paradise!"

And so, they had a lovely impromptu celebration, complete with cake, gifts, and heartfelt wishes. Then, Taehyung and Jungkook set off on their romantic adventure, eager to relax and enjoy each other's company.
