Chapter 4: Maybe He Would Know About This...

DISCLAIMER: Mentions of meds, pills. Please Skip the first, second, seventh, and ninth paragraphs if you are sensitive to these! It's okay if you are, I'll try my best to not make this Chapter necessary!

Chapter 4: Maybe he would know about this...

Bubble wasn't done asking all her questions yet, but based on Leafy's current state. Leafy definitely couldn't take more, Bubble saw that Leaf's painkillers were almost out, so Bubble grabbed Leafy on her arm and started taking her to the nearest pharmacy.

Leafy: "Hey! You can't drag me! I'm not that naïve!" Bubble answered," It's for your good! You need more of those pills, right? I'm helping you get some of them before it's too late and you run out!" Leafy mumbled," I suppose you're right... I don't want to wake up and have a terrible headache and not be able to help myself because of my negligence to it..." Leafy and Bubble both walked to the pharmacy, Leafy was shocked when Bubble asked for three containers. Bubble said," You look bewildered, Oh! Right, I didn't tell you. So at Iance, I noticed that Lightning had a pretty bad headache too, so I wanted to get him some too! Pretty reasonable to me." Leafy said to Bubble that she was wondering why she asked for three instead of two, Bubble then said the third one was for Firey, Bubble thought if Lightning and Leafy both had headaches then why wouldn't Fiery? When they left Bubble gave Leafy two containers—one for herself and another for Firey.

The five Spirits noticed that Bubble was catching on to their secret, but they spared Bubble. They thought she was really "weak", but was she?

When Bubble got back to her dorm room, she impatiently dug through many stacks of books. After a while, she finally found what she was looking for, an unused notebook! She made a quick diagram and wanted to know more, but at what cost? Maybe she could try to connect things on her own first, and not put the elements in torment anymore. She thought about what linked Firey, Leafy, and Lightning together, what did they have in common? She thought for a while, and then it clicked! They were all elements, maybe something happened that only they know... Not anymore, though. Because Bubble was on to them, or the spirits...

Bubble spent the whole night thinking of possibilities but needed more information. Lightning would recall what had happened, right? Maybe he would know about this...

The next day, Bubble went to Lightning's room right after she woke up, and thought of some questions to ask him, even if she already had hundreds. Bubble was going only to ask him questions that would get straight to the point, as she knew that the questions would hurt him.

"I wonder what would have happened if we didn't-" Lightning closed his desktop computer as he shockingly stared at Bubble through his door. "Huh?- Oh hey bubbs! Knocking was an Option..." "Oh...Your right... Sorry!" Bubble said in an apologetic voice. Firstly, Bubble gave Lightning the painkillers, after that, she got straight to the point and said, "I was wondering about the "nightmare" you were telling me about?" Before Lightning could respond, Bubble asked him a question. So he tried to say this in the nicest tone he could, "Oh...Um... I just woke up and I'm still quite dizzy, I don't think I can answer too many..." Bubble glanced at him, her eyes seemed to say "Right...". Bubble slowly closed Lightning's door, deciding to find someone else to interview. But at the same time, what were the elements talking about in their call?

Lightning continued to look at the door for a few seconds, making sure that if somebody barged into his room, it wouldn't give him a mini heart attack. He turned back to his desktop computer, slowly opening it. He joined the meeting that the rest of the elements joined.

*Lightning_Storm (Lightning) has joined the call*

"Guys, do you guys' heads hurt when you wake up as well?" Cloudy said. Teardrop waved at Lightning, notifying the rest of the elements that he joined the call. The rest of them said hello to Lightning as well. After that, Lightning happily said, "Hey guys! I'm sorry for suddenly leaving the call! Bubble just came into my room and gave me some meds." They chatted for a few hours, talking about their experiences with this new eerie feeling. Little did they know... Their friends were listening in. Those were, Bubble, Cake, Balloony, and Lollipop. Cake was listening to both Firey and Leafy since they were in the same room.

Bubble wasn't the only one who knew about the " nightmare" now... And the elements didn't even realize it. There were four of them, is that a risk? That might be, but they should be safe... for now...

Maybe their promises would come into play sooner or later... Or the Spirits were just bluffing, but they were the ones that destroyed their world, their homes, why would they bluff and then save their world? Why?

That was the exact thing the elements thought and even talked about in the call as well. They were all confused, but could you blame them? It seemed like their promise wasn't even made like it was all a fake tale. But there was no way that was true, right? Well, in their minds, it was for the future to decide, that was their mistake. It was set on previous mistakes, not the future.
